It's really strange why Manchester United sold him? Hasn't McTominay always been able to help Manchester United when they were in trouble?

I also don't know why Erik ten Hag didn't ask him to stay and I think here it's clear that the club's decision is very big to change the direction of his career. McTominay is a Manchester United academy player and he was even there during the Sir Alex Ferguson era.

On the other hand, I am very sure that his move to Napoli will further improve his quality and everyone knows that if a player has left Manchester United he will shine even brighter in his new team and at that time we also knew that Manchester United was a problematic team for anyone who was there.

I don't think it's strange truthfully right now. He impacted into the Manchester United squad over the last few years since the time of Jose Mourinho but believe me when I say that it's the perfect time for him to leave. With the way Manchester United wants to play, they need to bring in quality midfielder's. Erik Ten Hag voiced his opinions on how he wanted him to stay but the lad has already come to agreement with Napoli already. He had great moments, played as attacking midfieder, double pivot with Fred in midfied and lots more. I know how important he was over the way but all good things comes to an end finally. It breaks my heart to see that such a great academy player couldn't win the Premier League Competition.
His kind of game suits that of Antonio Conte, he will bring in so much energy into that midfied. He has matured over the years for Manchester United, though we're yet to see his best. Goodluck to Scott MC Tominay, I will miss his late goalscoring and match winners for Manchester United.

Chelsea apparently moving fast that they start to selling the players who potentially will not be used because after Sterling and Lukaku the latest player who sell is Armando Broja that just like we know Armando Broja was asking to Chelsea owner to sell him because he hasn't included to Enzo Maresca plan and apparently he will have new club this summer

Everton would became an Armando Broja next club because it says Everton and Chelsea have reach an agreement to loan Armando Broja and it says no loan fees which mean Everton loan him for free but at the end of season Everton have to permanent Armando Broja status
Source : https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1829783686008480233
Yeah, I don't understand why Everton still decided to take Armando Broja on loan from Chelsea, when he is expected to be out until mid-October with a foot injury. He suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury and will be sidelined until September. I know Armando Broja is a young player who has accumulated some impressive football experience. He has a lot of potential to develop (if he doesn't get injured again).
First and foremost, Everton probably needs to get Armando Broja fit again. I believe his presence gives Everton more options in attack. The free price is probably worth it for Everton Club do not hesitate to choose to try Armando Broja.

https://www.goodisonnews.com

I think they are just willing to take the chance with him. I also believe they have made this decision because they thought they were bringing him on as a loan player anyway. so I guess that thought they are not losing too much money anyway. But still, I do not support the idea of bringing in a player who is injured. Because you never know if he is actually going to recover in the time in which it is expected or if he is going to stay healthy after recovering. By the way, they are already going to give him two months of salary for free because he will be injured. Maybe they thought that as he is pretty young, he will actually recover pretty quickly. But I don’t know if that alone justifies this decision.

I watched how Manchester United were convincingly thrashed by Liverpool today and had to tell the guy I was watching the game with that the result would have been different if Scott McTominay was paired with Kobbie Mainoo in the Manchester United midfield. Selling off a player when you don't have better replacement is one thing some clubs do that I find very difficult to understand their reasons for doing such but it's Manchester United so I believe the club management knows why they allowed him leave after 22 years at the Old Trafford club.
It's a big loss to Manchester United if you ask me but a also a big win for Napoli because I believe the presence of McTominay in that team will improve the performance of Antonio Conte's men. Hopefully for McTominay, he succeeds at his new club by performing more than he was expected to.

I think Osimhen should just go to Saudi Arabia. There is no meaning in staying at Napoli without playing football for a whole season. But the time is running out indeed. I hope this signing also doesn't fail just as it happened with Chelsea. Normally I wouldn't support a move to Saudi Arabia for Osimhen. Because he is still very young. But while there is no better option he should take it and leave.  Sad
Chelsea seems no longer interested to sign Osimhen. Since Osimhen expects too high salary, only Saudi teams who can fulfill it. I'm not sure there is still Saudi team which wants to sign a top striker now. But if they can buy Osimhen with reasonable transfer fees, I think there is a chance for Osimhen to play in Saudi league this season. This will depend on the Napoli board and agent of Osimhen. They must reduce the transfer fees of Osimhen, there will be no more teams to pay above €100m.
The whole Osimhen saga is complicated and I believe there is more to it why he couldn’t make a move, no player or players agent will want his client to stay without participating in football for months just because the they don’t want a pay cut in his salary. No player would choose staying without active football than a pay cut because it will be endangering his career. Osimhen should have agreed to join Al Ahli had it been he knew Chelsea’s deal would fail. I don’t think Chelsea will come for him again and looking at Saudi top teams i think most of them now have a foreign striker so i don’t think anyone of them will be interested to come for him.

Theoretically, there are still a day left before the transfer window closes in Saudi Arabia, so Osimhen's transfer could happen right now, but as I understand it, this transfer (unlike the transfer to Chelsea) is complicated by the position of the club and not the player. An absurd situation - if everything is not resolved within 24 hours, then Osimhen will not play until winter, Conte expressed himself quite clearly: whoever is removed from the squad will not be reintegrated back.
Hopefully there is a way out for Osimhen before the transfer window closes, because after all he must have a place to play and when Napoli through Conte has said that, then there is little hope for Osimhen to get the coach's trust to play if he stays at Napoli.
Now I think his agent must move faster and when there is a good opportunity, then Osimhen must accept it. However, it is indeed difficult when the problem lies in Napoli's agreement which still does not want to release him at the price offered. I know they are also doing business here, but they should also be able to ensure the player's future and not just hang it up. Because they also cannot be selfish in thinking about the player's future.

It is already too late for Osimhen from the Napoli side on him being included in the team this season as it stands now, as he has been left out of the squad for Serie A season already.

Victor Osimhen isn't only the one left out by the squad this season as Mario Rui is not also included in the list because Conte and Napoli management consider them out of the project, following their decisions to leave the club.

Napoli also went as far to remove the number 9 from Victor Osimhen and give it to Romelu Lukaku.
I just wish Osimhen well this season because it is worse not playing at all this season, only to struggle with fitness or injury or having to play at a worse club that Napoli is way better than, all in the pursuit of a better pay for a career.

It is so sad to see how all this ended, it has now become had I know sort of a thing for Osimhen. Any player can settle for less of what they’re aspiring for can’t be guaranteed at that time, it is better than not actively participating in football and your market value depreciates. I also feel there’s more to this move that we don’t know about.
Napoli purposely increased his release clause so that no team will want to come for him even when his performance in the concluded season was not worth the price they put on him. This is very bad and now it has greatly affected his move. Napoli have now even delist him amongst players to be used for this season, this is cruel and it will maybe bring an end to his career in football if only if he gets another good chance at the end of the season or during mid-season transfer.

Yes, Napoli must make concessions on the amount they are willing to take from the Saudis in exchange for releasing Osimhen. But not because it would be in the player's interests (although that could be taken into account) but because, despite the fact that Osimhen is not on Napoli's roster for the season, they are obliged to pay him a salary, which is high.
It is unlikely that Napoli is such a rich club that they would simply pay a huge salary to a player who is not on the roster and is just waiting for him to be released or for his contract to expire.

Nothing looks complicated from my own perceptive, what transpired was Osimhen requesting for more than what was the available offer. We saw when the transfer window was open most clubs were ready to bid for Osimhen, no doubt his a great striker and deserves to be bought at that huge price but whereas the available offers are not meeting up as expected then alternatively one can just settle with the best out of the options instead of keeping the tag stagnant knowing fully well the transfer window is close to an end now he has to suffer for it.

Chelsea was really down to sign him, I'm sure they made all available options just to come in agreement with Napoli and Osimhen but they had bad decisions on the subject. If he really wanted to be bought at that price then he should have saved his carrier first by accepting the deal from Chelsea then during the season improve on his performance which will definitely increase his worth and value next time he gets option in the transfer market.

Sad

I agree with you, although I don't want that either, but I believe there is no other solution for Osimhen...

Chelsea tried until the last minutes of the transfer window, but they couldn't reach an agreement with Napoli, so even with the end of the transfer window in the main leagues in Europe, the Nigerian will hardly stay with the Azzurri because Osimhen was not registered by Napoli in the Italian Championship and therefore is not part of Antonio Conte's project at the club.

The fact is that Osimhen never hid his desire to leave, and although a move to Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain was on the table, neither club reached a financial agreement with Napoli and so we had this confusion until the end of the transfer window.

The main problem was certainly the irritation of the Napoli board after Osimhen refused the initial offer to play in Saudi Arabia, and then took his number 9 shirt away from Lukaku... in the end, all that was left was what he really didn't want.

To make matters worse, Al Ahli have now reached an agreement with Ivan Toney from Brentford and are unlikely to support the offer for Osimhen, so the likelihood of seeing a high-performance player employed but "without work" is very high.

Sadly, It's not always a beautiful and happy ending

Osimhen should have l decided to leave when he was still red-hot and wanted by top European teams. Things have turned up quite so bad for him and I don't know if he will rise up from the mess, but when he does, he should know where his loyalty lies.

Now we have to know who's the boss in this Osimhen's issue, he made his decision but that wasn't the best , when he had the chance to leave without any of these complications he still said he wanted to stay to prove his loyalty to the club, he should have left with the coach that won the league with them. I think that should have been his way out of this miss and now where in earth is he going to start from 🤔? He can't play or train with the squad and he's not even registered as one of the Napoli players so what would he be doing since they have discarded him?
Osimhen is using his hands to kill his career at this young age but let's hope the season comes to an end fast so that he can decide or maybe by January he can start up another move to leave the club but he won't be as expensive as he is now.

To make matters worse, Al Ahli have now reached an agreement with Ivan Toney from Brentford and are unlikely to support the offer for Osimhen, so the likelihood of seeing a high-performance player employed but "without work" is very high.
It can be concluded that Al Ahli is the only option still available, but some parties doubt that Osimhen is willing to move to the Saudi Pro League. Conte has emphasized that Osimhen is not included in his plans, therefore he insists on recruiting Lukaku. The other most difficult option is to be frozen, Osimhen stays at Napoli and must wait until January to be able to move clubs. Maybe this will be a lesson for him, and widely for other players, that being a star player who is fought over by many teams is not easy. Fabrizio Romano said that Napoli had reached a total agreement with Al Ahli, and Osimhen would be offered a four-year contract, with a salary of 30 million per season.

Chelsea cannot increase their offer to recruit Osimhen, financially they are very capable. But they must pay attention to their financial balance to avoid FFP sanctions, because previously Enzo Maresca had spent a lot of budget to recruit a number of players. In addition, Chelsea also had difficulty releasing their players because of the limited time, which ultimately caused Chelsea to fail to reach an agreement with Napoli to recruit Osimhen. I think that reason sounds more logical, regardless of the other opinions that have developed.

Do you mean who is the boss or who is the agent who is responsible signing the deals or doing the negotiations? It's up to the players and honestly Osimhen himself is to blame because of his greediness. There are even players who work through their professional careers without any agents whatsoever, they still negotiate impressive salaries and get along very well. He wanted too much in this case I think and his agent was fine with it, going with whatever brings the most money. This is a pretty rare thing that a player of his calibre fails to sign a contract by the deadline. Imagine how much he was worth one year ago and now he is in shambles.

The mistake was Osimhen's, who agreed to a long-term contract with a large release clause. When he saw that Napoli had won the title and it was at a time when he was the center of attention, he should have left Napoli, but he preferred to stay and extended his contract to a long-term one. So he was very aware that with the long-term contract he signed, he would have to stay at Napoli for many years. But now his ego is so high that he doesn't want to give in and stay at Napoli. I honestly don't know how he's not using his brain. Not playing will be much worse for him and now he no longer has a chance of going to play in Saudi Arabia. When the next transfer window comes, he won't be able to be signed by any big team because he's not playing. He's destroying his career.

Osimhen decided not to play for our club anymore last year, we tried to help. So there was a negotiation… but the deal didn’t happen”, Napoli director also confirms.

As far as I remember, it was last year that Osimhen extended his contract until 06/30/2026, so this means that he extended his contract last year and then regretted it because he started to see that Napoli was performing poorly and would not be able to go to European competitions or it has to do with something about salary.

Osimhen feels that he is one of the most valuable pearls in the Napoli squad, because of this assumption, greed has arisen in him by demanding a very unrealistic salary increase. Napoli have done the right thing, the club should not be interfered with by any player, punishing Osimhen by removing him from the squad is the right decision. His attitude has ruined his career, at least he will not be able to play until next January because Napoli will immediately sell him if there is an offer for him. Osimhen got too big-headed, without realizing it he had ruined his career, even though during the punishment he will still receive a salary according to what was previously agreed, but he will have difficulty maintaining his performance because he has never played again in the squad he is currently defending.

Sadly, It's not always a beautiful and happy ending

Osimhen should have l decided to leave when he was still red-hot and wanted by top European teams. Things have turned up quite so bad for him and I don't know if he will rise up from the mess, but when he does, he should know where his loyalty lies.
I recently heard news that Osimhen is not registered in the Napoli squad this season which will be a new problem for him and even in the three games that have taken place his name was not included in the list of substitutes. Regardless of whether the information is true or not, what needs to be related is that Osimhen has made a mess of his career after going through a lot of drama that he was involved in which will backfire on his football career.

He had planned to leave but Napoli held him back because the transfer fee requested by the interested club did not match what Napoli asked for. Although there were steps that could have been taken, Napoli also played a role in making Osimhen fail to move to another club. This season will be much more difficult and I am sure that when his name is dimmed and not talked about anymore, it will be difficult for Osimhen to find a club that is willing to accept him.

The question is who's the boss, imagine when Osimhen was doing everything in his power to call the shots concerning his transfer, how he even wanted x2 of what Napoli is paying him to be paid by Chelsea, now he had to sit and watch while his real boss choose if they want to play him at Napoli or not. He alone used his hands to spoil the smooth passage to greatness, not making any decisions to go to either Chelsea or the money making League Saudi is on him but he has already made a decision just that it didn't work out for him since Ivan Toney's transfer came to light, but let's be honest Osimhen never wanted to go to any league outside Europe, I think he wanted to stay and play some European football not about the money.

Scott McTominay is still very productive and he does need more experience by playing in other competitions, McTominay move to Conte squad can allow him to have more experience especially meeting several strong teams from Serie-A and of course if he plays very well then the improvement in the quality of his skills and career can be guaranteed.
Indeed, McTominay is midfielder who is really important for Manchester United and his presence can really help Manchester United to face some difficult conditions from each match, but Ten Hag has other thoughts and there are still other opportunities in the future to bring McTominay back.
Quite few people regret McTominay departure but in reality that is what happened and we can only see and follow how Manchester United develops in the future with all the major changes to the squad overhaul that was made this summer.

Bro I think it would have been proper if you get the right information about what really happened than concluding base what you heard that is actually not true, to be sincere here, it was Napoli that messed up the whole situation here, they initially put a ridiculous price tag on him, which they themselves knew that no club would want to pay such amount of money, and when they saw that no club is forth coming, they later reduced it, and agree a price with the Saudi Arabian side, which was bellow 70 million pounds, and when everyone thought that the deal can be completed once victor osimhen gives the greenlight to the deal, even though his preference is going to Chelsea, Napoli came with another bullshit, by demanding and extra 5 million pounds from Al Ahli, and that was what makes that Al Ahli to pull out of that deal and went for the Brentford striker instead, which was a lot cheaper.

While as for Chelsea, they couldn't agree on a personal terms because the salary Chelsea were offering wasn't even up to halve of what he is earning in Napoli, so to be sincere bro, who in his right sense would accept such an offer? Bro, it's all about the money, because in this life we found ourselves money is very much important, so don't make it look as if victor osimhen is the only one faulty here.

Yeah it is rumored that Osimhen currently has a verbal agreement with the SPL club where he agreed to a bid of 160 million which of course this would be an unthinkable condition where he had to surrender to Al Ahli's big offer even though there was no official agreement.

It seems that he wants to leave Napoli as soon as possible with a situation that is indeed uncertain because his current relationship is really confusing.
But choosing an SPL club in the end also has risks for performance because indeed in terms of salary they will definitely not have problems because whoever is in the SPL then financially they are guaranteed but still when leaving European competition then the hype and exposure will not be greater.

In addition, the deal must also be quick if he wants to leave because seeing from the closing time of the transfer season then it only leaves a few days.

I don't really know much about Osimhen or the SPL club, but it sounds like he's in a tricky situation. If he wants to leave Napoli, he better make a decision fast before the transfer season ends. Leaving European competition could impact his performance, but if the money's good in the SPL then maybe it's worth the risk. Good luck to him, hope he figures it out soon!
