They're unlikely to climb into the top four even with a win, as Aston Villa's goal difference will be better, but even fifth place after such a weak start would be acceptable. If Manchester United wants to challenge for a Champions League spot, they need to win today, and I think they're capable of doing so. Amorim received a lot of criticism at the start, but they're slowly improving. The most important thing is to win, as they're currently in the middle of the table.
Say no more. They are not capable, and you were so sure about that. Manchester United couldn't win against Everton, I thought their fans said they are back for the top 4 race. Ever since Manchester United have been poor, I never try to blame the coach, but as for yesterday the loss is on his head. Since the beginning of the season Manchester United has been seen playing very badly not far from the previous season, now Manchester United's role as a top team cannot be relied upon after seeing the 5 matches completed. Manchester United cannot beat Everton I am sure of that and the fight for the top four of the standings can no longer be achieved. Yes, no one is to blame for the team's defeat, especially the coach. Manchester United should have risen from the slump and returned to its glory days, the defeat in the last match could determine who will win the match.

Operation Paz is on for Real Madrid! He has been showing amazing performances at Como so far. 9 goal contribution in 12 league games already. After seeing the development of him maybe especially Xabi Alonso wanted him back. Real Madrid even has a really smart buy-back clause on him like only 9 million euros. That's crazy for a player whose market value is 55 million now. A great deal it will be for Real Madrid as a result. I had anticipated this, i always knew Real Madrid would want him back after his wonderful display in the Italian league especially in a club like Como, i have been following this kid up for a while now and i have always been impressed by his performance, from his link up play, to his vertical passes to the opposition third( even his through passes) then his ability to play as a winger which i have seen i some cases in Como's matches. It's going to be a huge blow for Cesc Fabregas and the whole Como side if he latter goes back to Real Madrid, because i can see that Fabregas was trying to build his attack around the wonder kid.

Is the coach preparing for the departure of Rodrygo or Vinicius Junior?

Is the coach preparing for the departure of Rodrygo or Vinicius Junior? Hmmm, well, it will be a big loss for Como, but big teams always hunt the gem..... Honestly, the addition of Operation Paz will such nice move because Real Madrid already know the player capacity and from all above this now his goal scoring ability is absolutely phenomenal which I think is too impressive for Xabi Alonso and that's why he wants him in Hala Madrid jersey again..... Wait they will buy him back on 9 million despite his current price tag at Market is 55 million. No way, this is crazy. Perez is a genius all the time he just did unbelievable deals. Besides that, one thing which I came to my mind is, "Why does Xabi Alonso want him back although he already has many attackers". But ultimately now I realize that Xabi Alonso is switching his tactics to queer counter attacking run and in this tactics mode he will need those players who have better finishing ability.

Nico Paz's incredible performance for Como this season I also believe is enough to force Real Madrid to activate the buy-back clause in his contract. I actually didn't know that the Argentina international possesses such qualities before he left Madrid to join Como. He's been instrumental to Cesc Fabregas' Como so seeing him leave would definitely leave a big huge blow to the team. That said, I think Xabi Alonso needs to understand that bringing him back to Real Madrid isn't where the problem lies, it is regularly playing him so he can continue with his current form. The Madrid team is star-studded already, will Nico Paz get the needed playing time he'll need to continue to be at the top of his game of he rejoins the club? That should be the main issue of concern

Sooner or later, those top players that rejected Manchester United will start wishing to play for United by the time the club picks form. Some players are like that, they don't want to suffer with a club but wants to be in a club that is reigning because they know that they can't add any positive value to improve the club performance.
Lol, it's funny, I wonder the 2 players you are actually talking about because more than 2 players rejected Manchester United, that's why I said previously, it takes a coach with a certain level of pedigree to convince almost any player to join his team even though they are not in the champions league football. These 2 players you're talking about wouldn't have rejected Manchester United if the coach incharge was someone with pedigree. They might not regret anything because even the Manchester United itself is in shambles. Do the managers really have that much influence compared to the club? I think it’s an unfair assumption to say that players rejected Manchester United’s offer because Ruben Amorim lacks “a certain level of pedigree”. Every player wants to play for Real Madrid regards of who the manager may be. The players know that they have a high chance of winning the UCL, and domestic league at the club. It is the belief that drives players to join the club.

Even when the club was at their worst moments they could still attract top players from all over the world and this isn't strange for me because Manchester United has always been a dream club for young players based on what the club has achieved during reign of sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United has a rich history, they won the UCL during their glory days, this should be enough reasons to attract great players to the club if a team like Arsenal that hasn't won the UCL could attract great players. That’s a good argument. If Arsenal can attract good players why can’t Manchester United. The answer is obvious, you only have to look at their position on the league table and their performance in the last five years to understand why the club has lost its appeal. Maybe it’s time to start focusing on academy players. I don't think you are seeing the big picture: right now Arsenal and Manchester United can't be placed at the same level: it's true that Arsenal didn't win any major trophy in the last years but usually players move to Arsenal and improve. When they go to United they get worse. So the point is not winning the Champions League but going to a club that can actually make you a better player and right now United can't be that club. If I had an offer from both Arsenal and United I would surely choose Arsenal.

Perez has indeed been selective in choosing potential replacements for Ancelotti and may have considered why Xabi Alonso was the final choice, but recently the public is doubting Xabi Alonso and perhaps the team is also experiencing tension between the players and him. At Real Madrid standards are quite important and they will not choose a coach carelessly without much consideration and I agree with you because this team was built not just relying on one person so even though some players don't like Xabi Alonso it doesn't mean the club will make decisions as they like.

Getting Nico Paz would not be a good idea, think about how he played at Real Madrid before he left. Why do they think he will be any different is beyond me, plus he is a midfield and basically they have like five of them already getting another one makes no sense to me.
In any case, Real Madrid has enough money to do all of these and get him and even bench him if they want to, it wouldn't be a problem for them. I mean this guy wasn't even a Real Madrid player technically, he was a Castilla player, the b team of Real Madrid, so in two years he didn't get great enough to make him worth this much, but because Real Madrid is super rich they are capable of getting him and putting him in the bench if they want to.

Cesc Fabregas will miss this young player. Nico Paz has contributed greatly to the success of Como, so the club might find it difficult to get a quick replacement. I wonder why Xabi Alonso will want the Argentine player back when he is finding it difficult to feature all the players at his disposal. Is the coach preparing for the departure of Rodrygo or Vinicius Junior?
The coach has a view to see the quality of young players, and maybe Xabi Alonso sees Nico Paz as fitting into his strategy, because I see Real Madrid have not found a midfielder like that. Nico Paz is a quality attacking midfielder, energetic enough to play as a playmaker, so his presence can increase Real Madrid's strength. Nobody knows if this is a preparatory move for Rodrygo or Vinicius Junior's departure, but I think letting Vinicius go was a mistake. Vinicius Junior has played an important role in Real Madrid's success and his contribution is quite large in contrast to Rodrygo because he rarely gets playing time so releasing him is quite possible.

Every team experiences problems. Real Madrid may have had some as well. However, it wouldn't be fair to criticize manager Xabi Alonso. He's been very successful in his career at Leverkusen. He ended Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga. He also went an entire season unbeaten in the league. He's a very technically competent player. However, this is Real Madrid's first year, and they're bound to encounter some problems. The important thing is that they can solve them.

Just like as it has been announced by Fabrizio Romano the deal is already in process and the team are expected something that is quite close and the deal should be concluded in the summer, because they both have an agreement on the player, and the player have already decided he is going back to Real Madrid and he has accepted the offer of contract, everything will just have to be finalized soon so that both of the team can continue playing their football and start working on other targets. And the player wouldn’t be expensive because both club already have a buy back clause in their contract and it has already been concluded that he would be going back and the buy back clause is just some little money and both teams knows about all of this, which is why he wasn’t sold to any club in the summer transfer window, I know there was clubs interested in him, but unfortunately that wasn’t possible.

Xabi Alonso is a young coach, and as a young coach, I think his ego is still very high, so it's understandable that there are internal issues between him and his players. However, it's not inappropriate for him to receive criticism, after all, a coach will always receive criticism, regardless of his achievements with his previous team. Real Madrid is a very strict team; they won't be careless when hiring a coach. In fact, before Xabi officially joined, there were very lengthy discussions. So, they also considered this carefully.

Sooner or later, those top players that rejected Manchester United will start wishing to play for United by the time the club picks form. Some players are like that, they don't want to suffer with a club but wants to be in a club that is reigning because they know that they can't add any positive value to improve the club performance.
Arsenal is currently experiencing one of its best periods. Manchester United, on the other hand, is a team trying to recover. Manchester United has been through some very difficult times. If I were a player, I'd choose Arsenal too. Furthermore, during Manchester United's downturn, Cristiano Ronaldo went there to try and revitalize the team, but they made a huge mistake by letting him go. Perhaps if Cristiano Ronaldo had stayed, Manchester United would be in a better position today.

https://x.com/DeadlineDayLive/status/1993209813329678602I came across an interesting tweet that showed a list of players who were happy and unhappy with Xabi Alonso. I don't know if it's true or not, but it makes sense Vinicius is obvious, Rodrygo is also not getting minutes and Endrick is even worse not getting a chance. Give us your thoughts on this, maybe we can share a bit about what's really going on behind the scenes on this hot issue. Because lately the news I find is always about player and coach feuds. Which camp is Perez worth defending?

Which camp is Perez worth defending? Xabi doesn't seem to get along very well with Brazilian players. Endrick never got a chance during his time. Rodrygo also got very little. Now there's the Vinicius crisis brewing. I think Real Madrid may undergo a restructuring next year. We're likely to see these players leave the club.

It's a difficult situation to be in and Real Madrid must be able to mediate because it's clear that the Brazilian doesn't like Xabi, perhaps because of the strict rules or other issues. But this problem could lead to a chaotic Real Madrid game that is not compact anymore but the most important thing is to find a solution for Perez because Xabi is not too bad to coach this team.

Bringing back Nico Paz is good but will he have a chance to play like he use to play in Como, Real Madrid have many midfielders in the squad and the midfield is one of the positions Real Madrid has currently, Real Madrid has, Tchoumeni, Camavinga, Valverde, Arda Guler and Ceballos as a midfielder and bringing back Nico Paz will be something that will make some players do not have a playing time, Real Madrid need a midfielder that will control the midfield, not a midfielder that can score goals. Nico Paz is good and he is a Real Madrid academy player, bringing him back will be good but if only, Ceballos leave Real Madrid or any player leave the team, Real Madrid is trying to build a team of a young players and they did not think about having a player who can change the game for the team when playing any top teams, and with the way Real Madrid team is going, there are some players that will leave the team because some players did not like Xabi Alonso and no player is bigger than a team to make the team fired Alonso.
