Was he ever good?! If you're a good observer of this game of football, you'd know by now that, Araujo is not the Barcelona kind of defender you'd want to rely upon. I'd take Wan Bissaka the former Manchester United defender over him and I'm not exaggerating. But that's a story for another day. IDK where are you getting a rumor if Vini is gonna go to City, but i think it's a fake rumor. The latest news clearly explain how Vini is lowering his wage demand and potentially extending his contract. So the chance for him to go to EPL is almost zero atm.
Other than his wages, he's being reported in clash with Xabi, but he already apologized it. So he is staying in madrid for the next years.

I don't fully believe that Vini Jnr really wants to leave the club yet but then everyone have a choice and if he stand his ground on leaving then I don't think there's anything that anyone but him can do about it. Well there are many reasons that could make Vini Jnr leave Real Madrid, and one of them is that he's achieved lots of trophies in the Spanish league and could want to continue his career in a new environment which is something most top players who's achieved major trophies with a particular team for long do, so it shouldn't be surprising if we see Vini follow such step next summer.

He never learns from the mistakes he has made because this is not the first time he has received a red card that has cost Barcelona, especially in the Champions League because previously when they met PSG he also did the same thing which should make it a lesson.

His performance is clearly poor now but Barcelona are also in a bit of a predicament so it looks like they will struggle to find a replacement quickly especially with the attacking problems where Rashford is also uncertain to be permanent and Lewa to be forced will also not last long even though he is still very useful at the moment.
Another option might be to look for academy players but of course when this condition occurs, great adaptation and mental improvement must be emphasized.
