Why are we acting like this guy didn't make any better contribution for Chelsea. This team was in a very bad state for complete 2 years plus, they missed many chances of getting to the Champions League but on arrival of Maresca, the team came back to form. He made big purchases and sold the players that are not helpful and he won the club world cup in that same season and the following season he is now a no brainer that is not helpful for the club.

If there is anything worse than what the club expected, they should have allowed him finish the season before making this decision. The draw against Bournemouth wasn't appealing but the sack is too harsh. Perhaps has been on warning before now and the team club don't want to take any chance. Liverpool has a record of buying players at an expensive price and they don't even care if the player worth that amount, if they are just interested, they don't mind the transfer fee. This is also what happened in last transfer window, Liverpool bought players at expensive prices thinking they will help the team, but the reverse was the case.
