I ran into another problem: I have an address to link, and signed a message with Electrum. I can verify it with Coinig.com. Signed message: "BTX" (without quotes).
And yet, I get this error at bitcore.cc:
Code:
Error : Sign Message not match with Address. Maybe Text is not "BTX", Capslock is very important here !

Could it be BitCore only accepts compressed addresses? Those worked fine for me, while the uncompressed addresses give this error.

Update: it's fixed now Smiley

I am getting the same error. I am signing verified signatures and getting this error? What is a compressed address?

the same error with mine message/ It seems that  BTX Claiming Service is faulty while coinig.com verifies easily my message

hey guys, first time I see this coin, a few questions.
1. What hash rates an r9 280x or r9 390 have in general ?
2. Is this the proper miner for this algo ? https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B0SBD9Pz6RS3cTZnbGk2alcxeWc I tried to the wallet with miner but it chrome doesn't allow it, must think it's a virus.

I just tried to claim

I signed the message BTX (all caps without quotes like in YT video) with electrum for the correct address

I put in the wallet address, then I put the signature and the BTX address in the next screen

It says the signature is wrong. But I verified it on coinig.com, which is provided in the OP and it is correct.

I tried other addresses that I have, same problem

I have used all those addresses and signed messages for other projects and they always work. Only here they don't.

What is wrong?
