$2000 anyone?

I do not think any great occasion to bump the price in 6 months. Normally bitcoin value uses to increase in the Christmas month and always fluctuation in all other months. So I think it is possible to see the 2000$ in this year end or in next year February like bump happened in this year. Segwit will not let the bitcoin price to see in bottom value again.

It is too early to say that there will be no occasion that will occur that might bump the price 6 months from now so we cannot say that surely bitcoin will reach $2000 price and I think it is still to early too for us to say that segwit will not let the bitcoin price to be seen in low values again because there can be some great occasion that will dump the price to the low values but there is a great chance we won't see it again though for now.

Maybe $1400 would be acting as a strong resistance levels but I am sure it will get broken even in this weekend itself.
I do see some big traders are booking profits around $1340 levels but momentum shows strong uptrend in coming days and it last up to $1550 levels too before making any U turn.

As long as prices are trading above 200-days running average line, I am too very sure that bitcoin will be reaching $2000 levels in next 6 months or even quicker.

We will see the result in a few months, and yes even if there are a resistant in reaching the $1400 mark it is still penetrable for bitcoin to go up ahead the value cap, but I am just speculating that there are still a resistance going on with this price cap, and it will still got it's hold in bitcoin for a day or weeks in my opinion but we will never know if it's gonna be sooner!

This is just a suggestion to start a new topic. Bitcoin will reach the point of 2000$ sooner or later no doubt. As I noticed bitcoin get doubled every year, so if to count that the year began from 1000$ I think we will see the price 2000$ by the end of they year.

Well we doesn't seems what market decision will be but i think $2000 can reach this year just HOLD and WAIT until it reach, however, $10,000 can achieve in 2020 kust my predict and my Technical Analysis (TA) only. I prefered just buy and hold until 2020 and $10,000 reach

This is just a suggestion to start a new topic. Bitcoin will reach the point of 2000$ sooner or later no doubt. As I noticed bitcoin get doubled every year, so if to count that the year began from 1000$ I think we will see the price 2000$ by the end of they year.

Are you sure about your opinion? tell me some fact related to the price of bitcoin will make a sense if that will have touched $2000 in the future. And bitcoin scalability problem not get resolved.

It's good to see someone having other priorities than just assuming/hoping that the price will break through certain price marks.

My main priority is that SegWit needs to get activated before I start to look at levels coming close to $2000 and higher. Right now the current price is what I consider to be on the higher side.

Don't forget that the market won't go up all the time. Especially not with certain factors (e.g. potential hard fork, Bitfinex) that could cause the market to take a few steps back.

You can speculate as much as you want but in order to speculate you need to have some realistic chances,if the SEC approves ETF next month then we would see a good rally and with the price at an all time high ,i think a good couple of trading days could take the price closer to $2000 and if the ETF is approved then the growth of price will be immense.

Yeah, but the ATH (all time high) was already broken, so the resistance area between 1280$ and 1380$ was broken. Now it probably became the support, unless the market is going to decide that BTC is currently overvalued, which may be likely in some scenarios, but I would still expect staying on the 1300-1330$ price range for a little bit longer time.
As we can see, the price of bitcoin has became a little bit of stable, there are no such a big fluctuations as before. But as far as we know, the supply of bitcoin will stay the same and the demand is still increasing: so price probably is going to do the same.

Anyway, I expect 2000$ per bitcoin somewhere at the end of the 2017, it is rather optimistic but as a BTC holder, I really hope this is going to happen

That depends on what exchange you are using as basis for Bitcoin's value. The price is at $1400 and above in Bitfinex. Many traders use the price at that exchange as their base.

$2000 in 6 months? We might experience another dump before we could experience another pump going $2000 especially now with Bitfinex's unresolved problems with their bank.

This remains to be seen. Bitfinex issue is still unresolved. Let's say we enjoy the price pump or bubble as we are currently seeing. Let's hope the price touches $2000 before the bubble burst. Then will see another pump that will put the price to even new levels like $2500 or more.

You can hope Bitcoin touches $2000 but you know it cannot happen. Not now with the threat of Bitfinex closing down and doing a Gox. But look at it as an opportunity to accumulate more coins.

Well, with the positive news about Bitcoin being acknowledged as currency, and new updates and upgrades on bitcoin usage and application, there is no doubt that the possibility of Bitcoin to reach 2k USD is clear.  Remember 6 months is a long time and within that time, there are lots of things that may probably happen to Bitcoin.  If ever all things are positive, 2k USD Bitcoin a piece is achievable for sure.

I am depending on the exchange value of the wallet I am using and searching it on the google currency converter well I have been to bitfinex once, but I am still preferring on the wallet that I am using.

I agree with you. Now there are several events that can positively affect the price of bitcoin. I think that by the end of the year we will see the price of 1800-2000 dollars.

Yes everyone is expecting to see that price in the end of the year and looking at the positive price movements in bitcoin at a moment it is likely to achieve that price in the end of the year or even may be before that.
