If you keep gamble your money, there is a chance for you keep lose and lose to recover your losses. Leave gambling could reduce your loss and you may have a great time to allocate it for useful thing like going outside or doing other works.
Yes if you realize that you are not progressing in gambling and in fact you are losing your money with wasting your time in gambling then it is better to quit gambling before time turns to bad on you. The same amount you use for gambling if utilized with a sensible approach can give you much result. I completely agree. If we feel that gambling does not bring any good to us then it is best to think of quittin it while we are still in control of ourselves. We would be at a lost if we become obsessed on chasing loses and eventually turn into a gambling addict that does not consider anything but gambling. But if gambling does offer us benefits and does not affect us negatively then there is no reason to quit it.

I've had good moments and bad moments in my life, but the worst moments is when I spent the entire day gambling and focusing only to winning money for this or that. I'm tired, seriously, to win big and then fall in more deep "debt" because of greediness. I can't afford to have such experiences anymore, it makes me sad the fact that instead of saving those money I preferred to spend them on a gambling site, I was like oh ok it's just x, so If i can lose it it's ok, oh it's just a faucet, it's ok if I lose it. But when If even with the faucet I reach like 0.06 or more, and then I lose them it's still a touch to the heart, that makes you say if I start back with this amount I can magically make it 0.6, yes probably, cause I did that in the past, as my far record is been from 0.001 to 1.6 btc in 3 hours with roulette, but let's not dig that.
I prefer spending the money on what are my necessities now, than see my wallet drop in amount. Every single f*** time, every time I had the chance to buy btc, or doge whatever, I ended up expecting to win big. EVEN if I win big, I repeat that, I waste the money afterward, because I think it's a good idea to bet bigger now if my budget supports it, and there it goes down the hole.
Why I decided to leave gambling anyway? I saw how rapidly I was going down in the past few days, and like an hot potato to keep sinking my butt on the wallet. I'm tired of that. I better move my butt and find something that used to keep me busy, like programming, I love programming. But then I got stressed and I started to gamble.
I hope you all understand. All my friends I made in these years on the gambling sites, thank you everyone for your support of my strong decision. Thanks everyone.
Most gamblers do this same mistake and that's because they don't think they were just once lucky, but they think they know now how to win with gambling every time they play. You've made the right decision, just stick to it no matter what others say. I respect your decision to quit and I hope many on this forum in similar situations would look for a better way out and learn from you and this thread I respect the OP's decision to quit too. Hopefully he will stand by his word, because many gambling addicts just say the words but never actually quit. I really wish OP had serious intentions when he was writing his post and I wish he will have strength to abstain from gambling in the future. i hope so like you because to quit from gambling is really hard and we need more power in our mind to leave gambling. once we can leave the gambling, we need to search another thing so our mind will stop thinking about gambling anymore. and if we can really quit from gambling, then we can start a new life without spend our money for playing gambling only. True. To keep your mind busy with something else is a great idea. I think even video gaming can help some people and reading books or watching interesting movies can help others.

Gambling should be seen as fun, a hobby if you like not seen as a serious way of making money because more often than not you are going to lose.
Remember this - you never see a broke bookie or casino.
You'll never ever be lucky in gambling. It will let you down and be worst and addicted. Gambler sometimes will burden on debt due to gambling. It will make people doing bad things such as rob other people to have money then after doing that, they will go to to the casino to play it well but they didn't. They were lost in just a minute. I know how attracted in the casino. It will intense your feeling while playing it. You wouldn't notice that you are being greedy to win your fight because of money.

Congrats you were able to quit gambling, that is good because most gamblers cant quit gambling even if they are losing tons of money or even they are getting more debts. I too once addicted to gambling but because i never win and i am losing all the payment i am receiving in my mining rig and signature campaign i came to the point to quit gambling for good, what i meant by quitting is by not depositing anymore money in gambling site. I just keep all of my hard earn Bitcoin in my wallet, join competition or event hosted by gambling site in games and rounds section without investing any money.

I know that feeling.
And it all can start with an "easy" match New England vs Houston Texans. A win, or a lose, and it's only time for more.
I've lost a lot too.
This reminds me I always thought I was being careful, I had a system, but I got knocked down even so.
I don't bet anymore. Not even on the "easy" ones.

I think a lot can relate to the OP, you see when you get hooked up with gambling it gets really addictive and when you get addicted to it you crave to get more or earn more. But the problem with gambling is you have to know that when you spend your money; expect that it might be returned back or it'll be all gone. I too had a problem with gambling before and I got greedy until every time I won more than I bet I tend to bet more and lost it all. I also quit gambling, never visited any site for like a couple of months now.

When we realized that we do lose too much money then we should really think off on the possible consequences ahead when we decide to proceed with our addiction thats why when we got already being addicted to gambling its really hard to control and leaving it would really be a tough job for us but the direct answer on this is the sensibility of a certain person on quitting job through his actions because if you did this you can actually quit up gambling without the help of others.

Leave only when you felt it doesnt give you any benefits or even enjoyment.

Most of us are still gonna gamble despite of the reality that we are losing hard, and with that kind of attitude we can still quit but because we are force too, I hope we will not reach to that level because it will surely affect your financial status in life and your relationship with your love ones.

This happens in the best case scenario, but unfortunately, as I personally heard from some gambling addicts, they think about gambling even when in a retaurant, or in a movie theater, or when going to sleep. An activity should be really interesting to distract an addict from gambling.

We can also save money to repair the damage done by uncontrolled gambling and we can be able to rebuild our lost self esteem and respect once again. It may take time but eventually all bad things that had been done will be forgotten and we will start as a new being far from being addicted to gambling. This happens in the best case scenario, but unfortunately, as I personally heard from some gambling addicts, they think about gambling even when in a retaurant, or in a movie theater, or when going to sleep. An activity should be really interesting to distract an addict from gambling. I know now some gambling addicts that really live and breath gambling. Its like its already in their bloodstream and all they talk is gambling. I think this kind of person would have difficulty in getting out of the gambling world. I don't know what will make this guys quit for good.

I don't know what will make this guys quit for good. Sometimes they only let you to see what you wanted to see to them but in reality you didn't know what's really happening when they are not playing gambling. Of course they have to talk about gambling because they have to prove their skill and they have to show their skills about it to their friends who played gambling. But in the long run you never know what would happen to them if they still play gambling in their whole life. It could destroy them at the end of the day because when you gambling you will not always win and it could lose all your money if you don't know how to control yourself. Sometimes people only played gambling to release their stress or to have some fun.

Gambling is a bad hobby at best and a consuming online hazard at worst, of course leaving it is better particularly if you can't control yourself and end up losing money which you shouldn't have played with in the first place. If you could leave it alone that's good, even if you need help there are allot of gambler's aid websites now.
