Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone.

In gambling, usually we hear about this type of stories and these all are similar. Many people lose everything in gambling and many people have been rich from gambling.
But about me, i am in a middle class of gambler who earn sometime and who lose sometime. But i have save myself, because i am not greedy and addicted gambler.

Many people have already addicted. ;from gambling are not really thinking about what is the true purposes of it.. Because they are losing of their gain. To invest their profit. Maybe this is good just for fun, .

I'm happy to see my fellow gambler leave gambling already, i know what you feel man, gambling is really addictive and it's so hard to leave it alone. Me myself as a gambler also feel like that, can't leave gambling, i already trying so hard to not gambling but in the end i always coming back.

Then maybe you should start to seek some help, you've done you way but still its not working or maybe you are not trying so hard for you leave gambling alone. I know its hard but you can do if you really want to get out.

This is both a sad and a good learning experience. Reading all these comments on this thread makes me realize how gambling can be so addictive that it takes the gambler away from his/her family. I hope we all learn from this, and not wait for the time we become hooked to it the same way that others did.

It just gives a lesson that whatever we have in an instant can also be taken from us in an instant. It can be gleaned on then that nothing worthwhile comes easy. There is no easy money? Perhaps.

Greed is the main reason for anyone to loss all they have including what they have won by the end of the day. Players need to set limit per day for both profit and loss, when limit will be reached they should just stop playing for that day.

Indeed, it is better to have a limit in playing gambling inorder to to prevent loss because greed has no good effect. Or it is better to stay away from it because gambling is all about luck and even though you have luck sometimes you still lose. In my experience in gambling I once win in gambling but as the time passing by you will lose frequently.

With the exception of gambling which promises us money if we eventually win, most addictions just makes us high only. Giving up on a chance to make easy money is no joke and despite losing thousands of dollars in gambling , people still see winning money as a easy money. It's only the wise and strong of heart who will be able completely stop gambling forever and they can't do it even at a go because it's a a gradual process.

Sure it takes some time for gambling addiction to be cured and those that even succeed to that point of getting cured are few and that is why i agree with you that it takes a strong heart to be able to be able to overcome such difficulties.

Maybe you should do what OP did, try to divert your attention to other things so you can forget gambling even little by little. It's hard to let go the things that we want and got addicted but if our will of change will drives us to a better one then we can do it. Yeah it isn't easy to do but eventually I know you can successfully eliminate it.

Always believe in this thing that there exist replacement for everything, whether it is some activity or a person. The suffering person just needs to make his mind and move on. We must be like water, always flowing.

I've left gambling for couple years after I faced a bad situation because of it. And I come to gambling again after I knew bitcoin. Yes, it is so hard to leave it entirely. Once we become a gambler, the chance to come back again even though after leaving it for a longer time, is exist.

If you do really value your money then most likely you would really have doubts anytime on spending too much money on gambling which would really make you limit on the funds that you would use which is really a good thing because it would really limit you to be come addicted on gambling. Leaving it would really be hard specially if addiction did hit you already.

That's the thing, you are already addicted and have a habit of gambling then you should know that it wouldn't help you in any case. It would just eat your money and it wouldn't come back unless you have thought about gambling again causing more destruction with your wallet.

Many people should realize that, they wanted to quit gambling but they just couldn't do it because they can't move on, on their loses, which is not a good idea, if I'm the one who is on a situation who lose a big amount of money in gambling, I will definitely going to quit gambling without any hesitation and going to think for another way on how am I going to get all the money that I have lost on it.

quit gambling is indeed not easy, I own until now it's hard to do that. let alone bitcoin gives me the ease in a gamble. I can still feel the victory so I am hard to stop. but maybe one day I will definitely quit. at least until now I am still playing within the confines of reasonable and not to ruin my life.
 

that's better if you think you are not addicted yet , as long as your gambling habit still on the limit lines you are good to go to gamble and quit from it step by step. the urgency to leave gambling are when you have done a lot of stupid things like get a loan to gamble , lost it and you can't pay it back. things would get started worse. no other solution just leave immediately.

As long you are still on the limit line then you are still fine.Going already into those kind of situations where you do already borrow other money just to play then addiction can already be severe for sure and you still keep on doing such thing even you are already losing.If you dont like to end up on having no house and a family then better to quit while its still early.

I agree that it is better to avoid something that we have difficulty in controlling than facing them and lose to the game.  As the saying, "prevention is better than cure"  so if we find ourselves having problem controlling our greed, it would be better to avoid things that will trigger our greed such as gambling games as an example.

I think if you're the smart person, you will know you're suitable for gambling or not, avoid it is the best way to keep the loss away.  So potiental or not , you should stay away from it if you're not fit with it at the start.

Sometimes if that rope is too tight and is hurting, the best thing is to just let it go or cut it because, in the long run, it would just hurt you more and more. If you know that you cannot stop yourself, seek help and maybe it would help you in a way that yourself cannot do because, in the process of it, you might be surprised at the outcome. It's better not to gamble anymore if you don't have what it takes.

When you finally leave gambling all alone, then you are going to find yourself earning more money than you could ever imagine, you never realize that gambling has no good effects in you until you lost a big amount of money in just a single blow. Leaving gambling would be tough if you already spent too much money on it, but trust me, moving on is more better than keeping up on beating the house.
