What is the use case of this coins some say it is ethereum killer but price has been dropping in rapid pace from past few days
I have also heard that is said to be eth killer. I'Ve been watching price action of EOS for weeks veyr closely. Trying to figure out the right level to invest. Altcoin recession began when ETH topped in June. 50-90% broad crash across the alts isn't impossible. I have a steep bid in at .0006 ETH. Hopefully it will be hit within a couple months.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Can we compare eos with raiden? Both of them are trying to resolve scalability problem. Or it's two different technologies?

you can't compare EOS to anything at this point. Graphene chains in general are a whole new league to play in.

In any case many things is not clear I guess, I must to go through white paper one more time. My mind's pretty messed up about everything(ico, rates, exchanges.. )

My opinion is that every day there are new EOS coming into play and the last 2 weeks the gathered ETH is decreasing every day. If this trend goes on I expect the price to drop lower until the ico is over or people buy enough.
We will see how it maintains over the coming months but I am waiting a bit before buying more just because of the decreasing ether collected every day. Yes, it can go up a bit if it breaks the bear line but if people get EOS cheaper out of the ICO then it will drop back down after a few days.
I would just slowly increase your holdings every 2 months and then near the end get what you want to own.

That's why averaging down is very helpful.

With all of the money EOS spend advertising at the last blockchain event and having their testnet released Why hasn't there been a release of the talk on Youtube ? And where is the news about the testnet ?

Before breaking the downtrend i will not think to buy "cheap" EOS. There is still nothing build from EOS side and too much fund raised. I hope this will not turn to scam.

Does anyone remember what the price of EOS was during the ICO? Also, why hasn't dan or the team released any kind of news or have I just not heard about it?

It was $0.86 in the first round (round 0), see https://eosscan.io/Dan released a few news updates last month (by e-mail) and informed us that they are somewhat ahead of schedule.

Profits in eos could be much higher than bts or steem though. Do you think it would be a viable strategy for a producer to pay a share of their profits to all voters?

I don't really believe that it can change the downtrend. There are 258 ICO rounds ahead, and with this price each would require fresh 5000 ethers (1.5M USD). At one point fresh money will drain out again and we will see the price falling.

I think that was a short squeeze. Too many people shorted EOS looking for easy money.

EOS is an unregistered security that was sold to some USA and EU investors illegally and it will eventually be delisted like all the other ICOs including Ethereum. Investors are risking legal and criminal culpability for illegal selling on unregistered exchanges. Study the facts. Crackdowns are coming eventually. China just the first salvo of what is coming from regulators in major nations. Steem started dropping when the Poloniex wallet got disabled for "maintenance". That was 2 months ago, and I think when a lot of people realised they couldn't withdraw their Steem from Poloniex, they sold it for bitcoin, which they could withdraw. And the Steem price hasn't really recovered, because the wallet on Poloniex hasn't been re-opened.
It's a shame when exchanges mess with coins like that.
That’s an example of what is going to happen to all ICO issued tokens when the delistings come forth. And STEEM is still trading on Blocktrades and Bittrex, so imagine the utter collapse towards 0 of the STEEM price if it had been delisted from every significant exchange. Everybody going to get plenty of warnings but they will ignore the warnings of course.
