Sorry to be a noob, but the current distribution on eos.io sees the value of eos around $2.3 something. Why?

I participated in ICO and already registered my eth address with EOS. If I buy from exchange and send to same eth address there shouldn't be any issue right?

Is there any way to check that my EOS Public Key is registered correctly?
I've registered my empty wallet but how to check that everything is ok?

As I understand it the EOS tokens are currently on the ether platform but will be transferred to the EOS platform next year when complete. Is that process automatic?
I also want to know the question, and some say that all these EOS tokens will lose their value when they arrive next July, so I'm worried.

Call me greedy! but as much as i love investing on the technical specs of a coin, i prefer those where i foresee a quick profit. I do realize that a yr long ico creates some form of stability, but that also suggest that the price might not grow post the ico phase for awhile. Also, its fair to say that crypt dev is still at an infancy stage. So i hate the idea of tying up capital for yr, cos a far more exciting ideas might be introduced to the market. I understand that stability is key but i don't foresee this ico picking up real steam till it close to the end of the aforementioned year.

For now, just hold your EOS as ERC20 token. When the time comes, they will make 1:1 swap to give you EOS blockchain coins. Don't make mistakes by trying unofficial EOS wallets or something.

If their founder has successfully built two projects then why do you doubt this? I know some guy invested all in $11k. This should be taken for consideration as the only (for now) strong rival against ethereum with some benefits. Do your own research!

i'm sure this might have been discussed before but do you guys think that exchanges like BFX will register their wallets in june to change traders tokens for native ones so they can be kept on exchange?
