Ok, so I read a lot of whitepapers and this one is one of the better ones. But i feel like the coin is so excpensive now because it already went up so much. I am looking for the best point to begin on EOS. I have $150 to spend now. Will it makes sense to choose now for EOS?
I have binance acount and i see that the price there is nice compaired with the other exchanges! Any good advise?

Technology is already superior to ethereum and its still in early stage.

Good team of Dev’s with proven achievements (previous projects), plus here everything is running ahead of scheldue

Great financial support from block.one and partners, not many projects have that much funding available and that’s just the start.

Decent sized community

IMHO there is potential for top3 finish at the end of the year, but make your own research before putting any funds in even if its a mere $150

This is Huge news that had little to no impact on the price action today. This is actually a good thing and Brocks tweet about EOS not being an investment cooled things down. I would much rather see slow organic growth than pumps and dumps.

Mike Novogratz is a huge player in the blockchain space and I am happy that he is onboard. You know if he is for a project you are on the right track. My money follows the smart money of others

Actually it did have a small impact as we were supposed to go a bit lower today and prepare for a major launch. Just to give an example when Power Ledger announced a 5m deal with Australian Government price went up 5 times in a matter of 10 days. The deal with Novogratz alone is 325 million. My last prediction about EOS in btc terms looking only at the chart, was at 0.0021btc until 26 Jan. while it is holding now at 0.0012.
I might have to add a long prediction to 0.012btc (x10) by the end of June, for this reason alone. I haven't seen a coin attract this capital levels since Ethereum.

News had a small impact on the price because of the hype, have you seen yesterday tweets / posts?
People were hoping that the likes of Apple or Samsung will be announced as a investor!!

When I saw that i was pretty sure price will go down as it wasn't realistic at all, but thankfully EOS is very strong as it could easilly drop -10% because of the 'dissapointment'... I see great things to come, hopefully whole crypto market isnt going to collapse because that could be the only reason for the project to fail.

Great investor, like someone mentioned our money is where the smart money is.

Average people may not be familiar with people like Mike Novogratz. They're familiar with big corporate companies like Google, Apple, Facebook, etc. There are other big players in this space and people need to calm down with their expectations a bit. They'll be more happy about their investment.

EOS has already done so much as far as growth of block.one and EOS.io before the product is even released yet. They will have a lot of the issues Ethereum is having now fixed starting from day 1. They're taking care of business before launch so that when it does get released in June, they can focus on bringing more people and product on board to grow their platform.

This is revolutionary and it's just the beginning people.

EOS is so hyped at the moments because the progress of project to be more better, the developer are very serious worked in this program and many program/ decentralize application dapps started addoption EOS platform. One of good progress is here Sheldon took it upon himself to create a summary specifically for EOS Developers. Thank you! - https://steemit.com/eos/@eosgo/telegram-developer-group-summary-jan-23-2018 - original forum post - https://forums.eosgo.io/discussion/145/telegram-developer-group-summary-jan-23-2018

Will EOS be the next generation of blockchain?
Some people said that first generation of blockchain is the bitcoin and it has the weakness, the second of generation blockchain is ethereum's blockchain also it has the weakness too scaling and security problem. EOS blockchain will be third generation of blockchain can do process millions transaction.

I disagree with this. Blockchain is not something that cannot be developed during the years. If ethereum developers plan to make something more spectacular than EOS, trust me they can do this without any problem. They're such smart people.

As you said the blockchain is not something that can not be developed during the years, how about the scaling problem and security problem on ethereum's platform? Is not easy to be fixed by developers just one year, how many time be needed by developers of ethereum to switch from proof of work to proof of stake? You know EOS blockchain be made for fixing scaling problem in the early and we know dan larimer and his team is not stupid and has large of experience in digital coins, that why many people said that EOS is ethereum killer, i call it EOS= ethereum operating system. Vitalik highlights the importance of decentralisation when considering scaling proposals.

https://ethresear.ch/t/scalability-with-block-creation-by-a-random-masternode/884

"EOS’s scalability is NOT because of DPOS or anything similar; its claimed scalability comes entirely from the fact that it requires each node to have a much higher computational capacity, making it impossible for anyone but large businesses to run full nodes. We could do that too, but won’t because it’s contrary to the goals of decentralization.

Sheldon compiled another EOS Developers update and broke down the DPoS video from yesterday. Dan's part 2 of DPOS/BFT coming in two hours: https://steemit.com/eos/@eosgo/jan-25-2018-eos-developer-group-summary
Dan goes more in depth on the new BFT-DPOS implementation for EOS. Thank you Dan! https://steemit.com/eos/@eosgo/4izmr903

Weiss Ratings, an independent rating agency for financial institutions has released the nation's first ever grades on cryptocurrencies by a financial rating agency. Weiss gives BTC a C+(meaning fair) and only EOS, ETH and DCR a B(meaning good). None of the cryptocurrencies was given an A(meaning excellent). Good news indeed!
