What should i do now i have bought some EOS trough bitfinex. The Coins are still on the Exchange im good with it atm?

You need to register them before the ICO finish or they become useless.

Personally I wait till Mai in order to know if Kraken register them for me.
If they don't until then - I will register them myself.

You can find more info on registration on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/eos/

You forgot to mention that you need to register your personal address (MetaMask, MyEtherWallet, etc.) not an exchange address.

Depend if exchanges decide to register for customers.
Kraken told me that they will decide closer to the date.

Edit: Need to register them soon for Everipedia airdrop.

From their telegram:
=======
✈️✈️✈️ AIRDROP: Welcome EOS holders. We will be announcing more details about the airdrop in the next few weeks. It will be ERC20 so make sure you hold your EOS off exchange when the snapshot date (to be announced) occurs. If you participated in the crowdsale, be sure to claim your tokens beforehand. We will give at least a week's notice ahead of time so you have time to prepare.

We will be releasing the tokens before the June 1 2018 EOS mainnet release. This should help stimulate community growth and engagement, especially because we want token holders to vote for some ground rules of the Everipedia Network.

UPDATE (1/24/2018): Right now we are working on various coding challenges:
1) How to make sure EOS holders are accounted for between now and also after the mainnet launch
2) The airdrop script itself
3) Tracking down the current balances of EOS holders
=======

I think you need EOS in your wallet and registered.

Hi
Sorry for the newbie question but I have bought and claimed my tokens. I have tried to transfer several times to MetaMask (just burning gas) but the tokens never appear but I have 0 EOS in my wallet. Is anyone else having this problem?

The community of EOS have compiled EOS on centos, to run EOS Platform on there, actually it is good for the programmers due to at least we know about the oriented programming especially C++ and must understand about the console of Linux, but there are no wrong to share on here, it is good knowledge of EOS Platform for the community, if anyone is interested in the compile procedure, please refer to his post check it https://steemit.com/eos/@highland0971/how-to-compile-eos-on-clean-centos-system

67% of total listed daily blockchain activity run on the previous projects of Dan Larimer!!! Steemit and Bitshares. This is why @EOS_io will be the next level and beyond.
Check out EOS review from our team (in Vietnamese).

I  heard there are a lot of Airdrops coming for EOS holders...
Is that true? If yes then will it be distributed by some limit or according to the stakes people have?

Hi, everyone! I have some EOS o ln an exchange but I would like to put it on the EOS blockchain by claiming my tokens through the smart contract on MyEtherWallet.com what is the best way to do that? Should I sell my EOS, buy ETH and then buy the EOS through the ICO?

Based on EOS Seoul announcement (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzfokidkg9s), it appear that EOS holders will get airdroped tokens for every new project.

The first one is Everipedia IQ, last I saw on telegram:

You need to connect the MYETHERWALLET with the EOS WALLET.

Then you can send the EOS directly to MEW

There is a 3rd party program out there but I prefer going to the source:

go to https://eos.io/
scroll down to "get eos"
check all 5 boxes -> Continue
scroll down and click the "register" tab
scroll down click the "myetherwallet" tab
click the "generate keys" button
(copy both and keep them you will need them)
Then follow every step explicitly to add the contract address/public key to myetherwallet
When registration is complete: follow steps to confirm contract address is properly attached.

I would do this with a blank MEW wallet and test sending 0.1 EOS to and from it before sending all your coins there to ensure its setup properly.

Like I said there are other ways but I would think most people would prefer generating their private keys directly from EOS.IO instead of a 3rd party.

Can you explane this (You need to register them before the ICO finish or they become useless)?
If i bought tokens at exchange can i just connect EOS and MEW wallets  and withdraw my tokens from exchange or i need to register them first?
Thank you for help!

Yes you need to register your MEW wallet to an EOS wallet before Jun 1. Once the wallet is registered just transfer all your EOS tokens to it (The MEW Wallet). You only need to register the wallet once so if you want to buy more on exchanges and send them to the same wallet later, you dont have to re-register them - the wallets are effectively tied so that when the Jun 1 snapshot is taken, your EOS wallet (tied to the MEW wallet) will have equal tokens. Also any airdrops like IQ will be credited.

One argument I’ve never seen countered is that even when/if Ethereum scales it will always require transaction fees.
