3) As per David Moss:
Next go/no-go vote is 0100 UTC Thursday. Chinese [security audit] report will not be done by then, so likely will be a no-go.
So please be patient for the launching the EOS blockchain the community of block producers will makes sure there are no security bugs on EOS blockchain, in my personal opinions the EOS blockchain will launch in couples days later.

There was voted for a NO GO yesterday, so mainnet launch is delayed with at least 24 hours.
Although there was a majority in GO voters, but not the required 2/3+1 majority.
Price is stagnating because all are waiting for the mainnet to launch and I don't even know if you can trade tokens at the moment?
After mainnet is up and running the price will sky rocket hopefully. But no one knows for sure.

1300 UTC - Call started: Reviewing chain and working out how & when to open it up
1306 UTC - Dan Larimer might join so waiting for him too
1310 UTC - There was a patch applied by the community earlier today, Dan suggested an alternative
1320 UTC - Dan has made submitted code https://github.com/EOSIO/eos/commit/843ed6452f6bfc7deb74b660dfcd7758ba6a1775 
1323 UTC - The randomly selected BP is known only to few people all communications being routed
1327 UTC - Great progress with meshing, more of the BPs are now getting blocks and getting connected
1334 UTC - Actual transactions are switched off but the blocks are going to all interconnected BPs - Great!
1345 UTC - BPs happy to be getting blocks want to complete meshing with everyone else, more time for everyone to connect.
1346 UTC - The plan now: Get more BPs meshed and open up transactions on Sunday after 1300 call
1352 UTC - All agreed: Validating the chain now and unfreeze tomorrow which opens up the chain to the public.
1355 UTC - No voting today folks only after the next major call at 1300 UTC on 9th
