Voting is ongoing!
Come on guys, vote for your favorite Block producer and get things started...We are losing time by people not voting..

Tell me why things are so complicated in the cryptos world?
All you need is a member of the EOS team to explain everything in detail on this page and everything will be better.

Some infomations about voting here :

Hello everybody. The coin will surely be with Ether. But Ether also does not stand in one place. It takes more than one year to do this. I wish everyone good luck.

very unusual. An awful lot of positive news about the EOS platform. even the rumored able to rival the ethereum. With its technology which is very unusual. I think it could be the EOS is really able to compete alongside ethereum.

EOS is not the ETH killer, Ethereum is much working product than EOS. EOS must really work hard for product. if you could check their comparison then take a look at this article.

Have you tried playing the EOS space invaders?  cryptokiddies bogs the ethereum network.  Right out of the box Eos smokes Eth in processing power and the latency in space invaders is almost near real time as if your playing with a controller.

https://eosauthority.com/space/

EOS is still in its infancy and it has working game prototypes that perform well.

EOS is going to be huge, This platform provides so many use cases we  haven't even thought of yet,

I don't know about the rest of yall but, I'm going ALL IN!  good luck.

Is it still possible to swap my ERC EOS tokens or are my tokens gone, because I missed registered in time?

check this.

https://steemit.com/eos/@eosnewyork/the-eos-mainnet-launch-survival-guide-how-to-avoid-scams
Quote
The Fallback Method:
If you're reading this right now because the EOS mainnet is live and you've just realized that you didn't register your tokens, then you might be in luck. The fallback method is meant to capture as many unregistered tokens as possible and make them available to their owners immediately at launch.

The fallback method works first by identifying the Ethereum addresses that hold EOS ERC-20 tokens but do not have corresponding EOS public keys mapped to them (i.e. unregistered). First, it grabs a public key for that address from the Ethereum blockchain, and then the Ethereum public key is "converted" into an EOS public key.

How is that possible? Think of it this way, your Ethereum public key is just the wrapper around a longer array of numbers which are compressed into a 64 character string that you call your public key. This 64 character string is specific to Ethereum and always begins with '0x'. If you “reverse” the process you can go back to the array of numbers and encode it for another blockchain, in this case EOS, which always begins with 'EOS'.

The voting is really coming onine now. The snow ball is growing now that the tools to vote are out there and a number of people have used them to vote. I do not rule out reaching the required 15% vote tomorrow already.

Check votes coming in here: http://dev.cryptolions.io/mainnet/

I just ask how I got to missed investing in such great project. It is still just the beginning for the project , got lots of prospect. By July, the project will be a year old. The progress had been steady but the funding is massive.

Hope we can stay above $11 for the time being  Huh

EOS is a solid project backed by huge investors. Right now the slowdown on the price is the effect of the after launch of the mainnet. But once infrastructure are layed out, it will be like the ethereum at the beginning, in few months the price will rocket. This is the next big thing.

eos price is going down and maybe it will go under 10$ shortly
and also EOS mainnet voting is still in progress
have any idea that how much time voting takes ?
EOS price could explode after mainnet fully functional

users of bitfinex who have EOS in balance or margin long positions can now vote whether bitfinex should participate in voting process by temporarily staking balances:

Quote
EOS Mainnet Activation Vote
June 13, 2018

In order for the EOS mainnet to go live, an equivalent of 15% of all issued EOS tokens (approx. 150 million of the total outstanding EOS) must vote for at least one producer. This threshold is built into EOS, and ensures that the mainnet has sufficient community support before considered active. Only upon mainnet activation is it possible to unstake tokens for withdraw, and there is a three day waiting period before receiving the tokens after the unstake request has been accepted by the network.

Initial plans were for Bitfinex to enable BP voting on our platform only after the 15% threshold had been reached and the network deemed active. However, for the sake of added transparency, and to provide our users with an opportunity to participate in the activation of the EOS network, we have decided to host a public vote on the following topic:

Should Bitfinex temporarily stake EOS balances to contribute to EOS network activation?

Users will be able to vote by staking their EOS using the following guide to complete the vote process:

EOS Mainnet Activation Vote.: https://support.bitfinex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005780034

Please note that this is not the EOS Block Producer vote. This is a vote pertaining to whether or not Bitfinex should temporarily stake EOS balances to contribute to EOS network activation. EOS Block Producer voting will be enabled based on the outcome of the Mainnet Activation vote.

You can monitor the EOS Mainnet progress and official vote count

amount of eos on bitfinex is probably enough to reach 150 mio immidiately.

so it only needs to >50% voting yes, and only 15% tokens on bitfinex is enough to decide for all eos from bitfinex to participate in voting proccess

so if you want to participate and have some eos balance on bitfinex, or you can buy eos there and follow instruction to cast your internal vote.

//this will be interesting to follow.

Hopefully this voting situation will be cleared up soon Smiley

What exactly is the problem, too many holders not wanting to stake in case price shoots up after main net fully launches ?

I'll take any freebies on offer Smiley

Many are not voting because they just dont know how to. If the EOS developers releases intensive information and application to the community before main net launch then maybe the voting process will not take long days or weeks to finish.

The other reason why the people are not voting is because they dont want their EOS get staked.
