Anyone know why it won't connect?
Do I need nodes?

Thx Smiley

No nodes needed.
Try to delete folder C:\ProgramData\sumokoin and restart wallet. (save your seed words and/or keys first in order to be able to restore later in case you have coins stored in it already)

If that doesnt work download the cli wallet and daemon from here https://www.sumokoin.org/downloads/v0.1.2.0/sumokoin.win.x64.v0-1-2-0.zip and try to synchronise by running sumokoind.exe ( cmd deamon )
Once the daemon downloads the chain and synchronises, save and exit and then run again gui wallet.

There is a known but rare bug on gui wallet installer creating corrupt wallet files on first install on some systems. Devs are solving it for the next wallet version.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Can someone from dev team apply to list SUMO on bittrex? Really dislike cryptopia and their lack of responsiveness.

I heard it's in the plans but the new website and roadmap comes first.

ABOUT THE WALLET BUG: Force shutting in task manager and running the wallet app as an administrator always solved that problem for me in seconds.

Well, so many new miners increased difficulty from ~600000000 up to 2031847212 in 2 days.

SUMO Fairpool https://sumo.fairpool.xyz update

Now you can mine directly to exchange. Added support for PaymentId specified in the login.

Thanks. This is the most advanced pool for Sumokoin so far. Is the pool code open source?

Hey Devs,

I have this issue with the Sumo miner, sometimes the chrome browser stops responding, it will open fine but you cannot click 60% of hyperlinks and I can confirm it is due to sumo cpu miner. It takes a system restart to get things to normal. Maybe a bug in threads processing??

You need to buy bitcoins first. You can buy them in any exchange of your choise (bitstamp, bittrex, kraken, whatever).

Then you make an account on cryptopia and tranfer the bitcoin there (it is good explained how to do so on most exchanges). On cryptopia you can use your bitcoin to buy sumokoin.

Hope that helps  Wink

Hey guys !

Here is my contribution !

I'm proud to announce SUMOPOOL.cc, a new sumokoin mining pool !

Based on cryptonote-universal-pool, I'm planning to add some extra features such as :

- Workers
- Workers down notification
- Customizable withdrawal

I've already add the sumokoin price support and I'm working hard to add others features.

Donations: 0.1% to open-source devs
Total Pool Fee: 0.5%
Minimum Payment Threshold: 0.500 SUMO
Denomination Unit: 0.010 SUMO

You can start mining by pointing your miner to sumopool.cc:3333

Enjoy !

Sumo is finally getting some interest which it is deserving.

But i have a question. Cryptopia is enough for us?

Are we applying for bigger exchanges not like bittrex or polo, like nova or livecoin?

New exchanges will come after rebranding is done.
