no Sumokoin is an excellent fork of Monero, with a smart and talented development team. An ever larger community. A very good project with a bright future!

You should Capture (Screen Shoot) the screen, not posting the links (or put your wallet id)

it's probably because they rarely find blocks. they've gone 3 days without finding one in their history.

Classic example of luck-based solo mining. You haven't found a block, most likely, so no coins for you. Even if you find a block, you will only earn ~36 SUMOs at the current rate.

Sumo GUI Wallet v0.0.2

This version is to incorporate subaddresses feature (named "Ghost" addresses) to UI. 10 "ghost" addresses are always available to use while used addresses are grouped with available balances.

NOTE:

  • The new wallet binaries are not fully compatible with old wallet files. After upgraded, you should run "Rescan Blockchain" to refresh wallet and reveal all transaction history. That's highly recommended.
  • Exchanges may not update their wallets to the latest version so that withdrawal to subaddresses would result in errors. Please make consult supports before using subaddresses for coin withdrawal.

Changes:

- Full support for sending and receiving to subaddresses.
- Receive tab shows ghost addresses along with main address, ready to use.
- Various bug fixes for better wallet stability.

Sumo-cchi is strong these days. Thanks a million to dev team for steady and fair approach.
I hope the community will grow and there won't be anyone toxic as we have seen before.

It would be great to get some media coverage. So far there wan't much about the coin so if you can please share the news.

Please also note that a beta version of Sumokoin's mobile wallet for android (approved by official developers) has also been released.
Default node on wallet.sumokoin.ch:4444 but you can change it to any remote node or one that runs locally.
All its features are operational but please use at your own risk and with small transactions at the beginning cause it may contain undetected bugs and must be thoroughly tested before uploading to app store.
If you discover any bugs please create an issue on wallet's git repo.

Hello guys, me and my kids started mining sumos almost since the beginning mostly with cpus, recently as a didactic experience we did setup a pool but difficulty went to the sky, so im thinking in getting some more miners. Pool is not public, and obviously not saturated but we lack power to find our first block. if anyone is willing to help, please send me a private. We are at 1.5 2 khs, we are not pro miners. Pool is with a german server provider. Thank you.

There seems to be no option to define an explicit DB directory with Sumokoin_Wallet-v0.0.2-w64install instead of the default one (C:\ProgramData\sumokoin). Will such a feature be added under Settings tab...perhaps in the next point release to make it easier for the less tech-savvy folks to apply? I tried the --data-dir D:\new_directory flag in the shortcut target but it doesn't work and persistently create C:\ProgramData\sumokoin default directory.

Guys, be calm, keep HODLING. Remember, this is crypto. Let's please stop with all the mooning talk. Vitalik had a tweet about this exact same today - let the developers do their thing and we as a community be supportive of their work and the roadmap. Being humble in this game will earn us a lot of respect in the long run.

So I request you guys to stop with all the "$3, $5, $10 today" posts.

Much respect,
SUMO HODLER (and miner)

I will hold Sumo a long, long time. But to talk about the coin is vital. You advice is bad buddy, sorry for that. I don't talk about "moon", or "when lambo". Don't mix this things  Wink

Exactly my point, talk (in fact shout) about SUMO all you want. We can use some free marketing. But let's not get overly euphoric till will get to, say, $50 Smiley. Some humility until then will do us all a lot of good. If you think that's bad advice, more power to you.

Humility indeed. There is "Class"...and then there is class. Unfortunately, these folks don't have either. Their rabid cheerleading borders on fanaticism/zealotism and would most likely cause people to be wary of the project and be turned off (when it's being pushed as "too good to be true, it probably is"). They actually have the gall to publish on here a slanted/biased comparison infographic with Monero. Lest we forget, Sumo is a copycoin of Monero. Why indulge in such unnecessary, pointless and toxic chasm instead of developing a kinship with its origin/roots? It's like biting the hand that feeds. In fact, why can't this community just mind its own business and concentrate on making this project successful?
