What are the reasons, why people use Cash or Credit Cards / ATM / Banks?

* anyone is able to understanding of the value of payment
Cash is just easy to access because you can already get it from your own pocket or wallet unlike bitcoin that you need internet access and to convert it into your country's currency before cash out. Also it is the thing accepted for payments in any establishments because bitcoin is not yet used or accepted as a legal currency or type of payment for some countries that have not been legalizing the usage of bitcoin. But in some aspect, bitcoin can also be better used than cash and vise versa because they do have different features for different usage. |

Cash might be a better use than bitcoin especially on those countries that have not yet been legalizing the usage of bitcoin in their people. Also cash can be easily accessed in hand due to the reason that it can be easily get in a pocket or wallet of yours. In addition to that, cash is also the only thing accepted as a way of payment in many establishments like malls, stores, etc also ATM cards that are accepted for swipe payment offered by banks that does not yet operating the usage of bitcoin . But there is also a better usage of bitcoin than cash depending on the usage of bitcoin compared to cash. |

Well it is simply that cash really works offline and it is the traditional way. This is the way of trading where we became dependent to it. Having a cash in real life is the traditional way of living, means that every people used that especially our elders. But bitcoin is the new money or new currency. But I think we need to cope in the future. And this is the future, this is bitcoin. The next generation of currency.
For now most people will prefer cash because it is easier to use than digital currency or bitcoin. Because the environment has not been so supportive using digital currency. If all places are already using and receiving digital currency cash will certainly be dissapear |

The main reason for preferring cash or conventional payment system over bitcoin is the acceptability. Fiat and card is accepted at every merchant and every shop, so you can use it freely with a very low fees. Also you probably earn through your job and you are paid through cash or bank transfer so the availability is more. However, on the other hand bitcoin transaction is costly and it also takes a lot of time to get confirmed. So it is not an ideal choice for the merchants to accept bitcoin for selling some silly things. He will have wait till the transaction is complete. Also the buyer will have to pay a huge fees on the transaction value to get the payment done. Bitcoin is an investment asset and not a payment facilitator. |

All those are true, but inflation is the enemy of cash. Seems like people don't understand what inflation is, but it basically means every day your cash drops in value. So lesson #1, dont hold cash! |

Cash is controlled by the central bank, bitcoin doesn't. For me that's a reason why Bitcoin better than cash.

With bitcoin there's the matter of a transaction tax having to be paid to a cartel of chinese miners for every transaction.
Unless bitcoin becomes virtually frictionless I doubt it will be able to compete with cash

Cash is better in a way that it can be easily accessed on your own and does not need internet access to have one. Also cash is the most accepted and valuable thing that manh establishments are accepting in terms of payment transaction. But within that features, bitcoin can do also have better features than cash. It really depends on the user and the purpose in which bitcoin and cash will be used. |

Cash is better than bitcoin because cash can be spend everywhere.
Unlike bitcoin it is still in the process of being adopted though there will be the time that bitcoin can be accepted everywhere.
Only today, cash is better but for the upcoming years, I don't know.
Bitcoin is still experimental and just in the early stage of adaptation and it has far way to go to surpass or replace cash as medium of payment. Cash will always be better than bitcoin because it can be use by everybody with no hassle and more convenient to use than ever. Not to mention the high fee and turtle like confirmation as hindrances for the adoption by many. |

Yes we can use cash anywhere, and there is no restriction on cash usage. But in term of security, i thin cash is better than bitcoin. Any fraud happen in cash transaction we have a source to get back our cash, but in bitcoins, we don't have any option. Once it's gone that's, it will never come back. And saving wise yes Bitcoin will give more profit than cash. |

Venezuela and Zimbabwe are two countries where the currency failed because the government failed. When a government fails, the currency it issues fails. If the miners and developers of bitcoin got in a fight, the miners starting adding features and the developers started trying to take over the chain and users starting using alt coins because they didn't want to deal with the mess, bitcoin would fall apart in the same way. |

in this thread, I want to give more importance to the cash because of more availability and acceptability to everywhere. if you can calculate the ratio of the user between cash and bitcoin then you will find that cash user is bigger than Bitcoin user. every people in the world are familiar with cash but a few people are known to Bitcoin. so in terms of using cash is much better than bitcoin.

No not at all.Bitcoin is better than a cash.Only con about current status is we have to convert bitcoin to particular currency and brought the things in shop and all.If bitcoin is accepted by all countries mean ,you can buy in a shop with a Bitcoin itself.But it take some more time to reach that level. |

Both have the advantage of each cash is more easy to use in offline because it is accepted anywhere, While bitcoin is very flexible brought anywhere because digital form, Both have their advantages. After all you can use both simultaneously right? |
