Ethereum’s smart contract technology makes corporations very interested in its real world applications. Ethereum price predictions for 2018. If it exceeds it, price will triple.. This also means that the value of Ethereum would increase in the future.

Personally,I bought ETC!Since it costs less, and in my opinion ETH is a very promising coin! But ideally,if your funds allow you,it is better to buy both ETH and ETC!

eth is for long-term coin but whereas ETC is short-term coin we can expect short-term gains in ETC and new hard fork is going to prove more strength for etc

why would anyone wants to invest in ETC? It is just a nostalgic coin for Ethereum platform with no real usage. We all saw its poor performance during the altcoin season in january and also Callisto fork period. A random coin would increase x5 during that period but ETC did not. There are a lot of competitor for Etc, such as Eth, Neo, Lsk, Waves, Strat, Ada, ICX. So investing in ETC does not make sense

My opinion is ETh is a stable and safer coin and if you want to invest then you can invest with ETH. ETH is getting more popularity day by day. I think if you invest with ETH and hold it then i think you will get a huge profit from them.

If you are genuinely interested in ETH I would also look at Cardano, it's a third gen coin and it's a pretty interested bet to hedge against ETH. It solves the scalability concerns and the team is amazing (ETH guys themselves)

These are two very promising coins, I would invest in both. Their meaning is the same and they are like brothers. Yet ETC is the original blockchain system for Ethereum and it will remain unchanged.

I think the ETC will always be in front of the ETC. I think this way. Ethereum is really big and very supportive. Such growth has given him even more power

For me ETH is the best, Eth is still kicking the market, But these two are vey good coins if you dont mind try to invest at eth with 70% of your investment and the 30% invest at ETC

Of course ETH. I don't see any good prospects for ETC. It seems to me that the peak of ETC's price has been passed. A few days ago the price has reached 39 dollars because of the increased demand in front of the fork. I think that ETH has a lot more potential now.

Better invest in ETH. It has bigger community and  strong developer team, also almost all ICO  build on ETH blockchain.

Exactly ETH, without any doubt, but only with the case if the choice is ETH or ETC. Now the market is on the decline, it is better to temporarily refrain from large investments, well, or you need to catch the bottom.

i think before making any decision, you should know ETC is the result of ETH hard fork, and even after the hard fork, ETC can never be able to reach higher than ETH, because in this market rightnow, most of investors dont like to use a fork altcoin, so there will be few people want to invest in ETC, i would choose to invest in ETH.

I would invest on Ethereum all the way. Just seeing eth’s technology and constant development will want you to invest for more. Though the market isn’t doing good, Eth remained stable and still high on value. I think that ethereum is one of the safest investments as of now.

Obvious answer is obvious. Ethereum replaced ethereum classic's chain basically ethereum classic just sits around doing nothing comparing to ethereum (in my opinion). Erc20 even helps shaping my idea, ethereum is better.

Sounds too good to be true? The Artis Turba ICO is already over and with $5 million in funds the team has already started with the development of the Artis Turba Exchange - and it is expected to be live in June 2018 from where these earnings will be implemented Cool

Forward Together!

How could a split chain could defeat the real ones? ETC will not be good as ETH since we all see that the adoption of ETH are much better than the ETC and the copy cat coin is just a little confusion for the ETH holder. But at this current times ETH are in bargain and we can even buy more cheap ETH since a huge possibities that the price value would reach for more or even it could regain and reach up for $1,500 ATH.

It seems that a lot of people here are new to crypto or don't care about the real history of their coins and just buy coins because of hype...
ETH is a fork of ETC. It was forked because of a hack apparently. ETC is the original blockchain.
ETC has the same capabilities than ETH and also accept smart contracts and i suppose also ERC20 tokens.
But it is not popular as ETH because i think the hackers still have their ETC.
It is a little like BAR who becomes TBAR i suppose? But i was not really interested about crypto when the hack happened.

Here is an article about the hardfork of the original ETH blockchain (3.6 millions of ETH were stolen):

I agree with the masses here. Ethereum for all the reasons already stated above. Ethereum has a massive potential what with the infinite applications of smart contracts and more.
