After this realization I had to give up on Ripple completely, I sold my shares and am out of Ripple, I need a company that will go down with me and rise with me not one that rises no matter what while I fund them and I very likely may get screwed while they get successful. Open your eyes if you're investing in them.... you are investing in their XRP not Ripple as their employee quickly pointed out to me on twitter. Even regarding their block-chain technology big competitors are coming on the scene soon. The main point though is I need a company that will go down with me and rise with me not one that rises no matter what while I fund them and take all the risk. Why can a company I invest in be successful without me being successful as well, how is that even a possiblity!?! I'm out this is a complete scam and fraud it was obviously knowingly created that way.

DO NOT INVEST IN XRP

There is a bear market in Alts coming.

All of these coins are garbage, and ripple is no exception.   Basically most of what OP said is true...and it applies to 99.999% of the rest of the shitcoin world.

Ripple also have a lot of corporate backing. Of course they are centralized and can extend the supply quite a lot, but ETH and it's whales are not a bit better. So forget that "will go down with me and rise with me" silliness if you want to deal with alts. Any coin can be successful while you losing your life savings if you bought into it in the wrong time.
As long its centralized then supply can really be extent on what they want .I dont know whats the meaning of the things that being said by op down with me and rise with me.He must assuming that he can anytime guess and go with the flow of a certain altcoin he does engage and if hes saying about XRP is fraud then it doesnt matter at all on those person who do engage with it.It may not give him some money but for others it does.

It is obvious, OP just bought XRP at the very wrong time probably at its peak then after buying XRP go soutward.  And he lose his potential profit (thinking it will continue to rise in price)  Then he was too disappointed and being too emotional he created this thread whining about XRP not being cooperative with him. Well that is my assumption.

Maybe you are right, why would he have something on xrp he has a motive on this,he wants peopel to sell the coin at very low price then buy it and wait for the next big pumps, this is also my assumption people created fud so people will dump their coin.

Nope I do not hold any XRP, but I do recommend it to my friend to buy it when it was at 3 digits and told him to exit when he got a good profit from it.  I was just saying my thought about OP's reaction.  And I am never affected by FUD nor hype Cheesy probably because I do not care at all since when I buy any altcoin, I know what I am doing and considered them as lost fund already.  Grin

My reply was a cliche.. i have been accused of that a million times before.
You say something good or bad here.. it's OBVIOUSLY because you're buying / selling.  Cheesy

I really don't see ANY redeeming value in Ripple shit.
I can not fathom why anyone would willingly SUPPORT it.

Few do..

*Most* say what you said Lion.. they are buying <who gives a fuck> coin for ROI'z.
EVEN ..if it's a coin you should NOT be supporting.

And this my profiteer kidiot friends is what Crypto is about.
Placing wagers on, well.. who fucking cares.
As long as it pays out.

And that piss poor mentality has taken something with promise and destroyed it.
When i came here and there was a small handful of coins this shit was considered a dirty secret.
An embarrassment and a joke.
Now ? Good god.. what a clown shit show of fucking retard profiteer faggotry.

You are fools and won't learn.
And because of this there is one single outcome.
I get to kick back and see it all play out precisely as i predicted each and every step of the way.

You profiteers here sold out.
You forked over your support investment for peanuts.. chump change.
Sad.. because you could have been rich beyond belief.
But your stupid.

Whoever is using ripple's technology for legitimate reasons, like banks, they do NOT buy XRP. Because the whole purpose of RIPPLE is to cut costs, and buying XRP would increase them instead.

Not to mention XRP is NOT needed to transact on ripple. Read their goddamn site. No mention of XRP being used or being useful. XRP is like a side project and fools investors into thinking ripple's success translate into XRP success, which is not happening.

As a comparison, see ethereum and ethereum classic. Everything important happens in ethereum world. But because ethereum classic has the same name and similar logo, it fooled people into thinking it has potential too, which is false.

So as a conclusion, XRP is a way for RIPPLE to capitalize on their success because they do not make profit with ripple unless banks pay for the services in cash, which i doubt. So they make profit by dumping XRP on the market to speculators.

Another silly symphony ...

The amount of XRP burned in a transaction is a fraction of the costs banks have at the moment, when they transfer money over this planet. Or do you really think, there are only stupid people working in banks, that they try out ripple technology at the moment? That they can't calculate costs?

And please tell me:
How often do we have to explain here, that banks NEED XRP, when they want to transfere money to other banks with other ledgers, until guys like you will understand that? Another thousand times more?
Go and make your homework first, before you spread your bullshit here.

Bank doesn't need XRP you fool, it's written on ripple's site, read here https://ripple.com/ https://ripple.com/xrp-portal/. Read what it's written on their site, their videos and so on. Nothing to point out at XRP, but the platform itself. Quote "While XRP is not required to transact on Ripple*, it is uniquely positioned to create more competitive foreign exchange (FX) markets for cross-border payments". They are bluntly saying XRP is not needed but they hope it would become a currency.

Sure, it won't become a currency. Know why? Because ripple is a private company and the ripple platform is centralized on their servers. It's like a central bank releasing a colored currency hoping fools would use it. Plus it would have to compete with bitcoin and 1000 more cryptos, having the disadvantage of being released by a centralized private bank.

XRP being burned in transactions doesn't help with the fact that whoever is using ripple's platform, doesn't buy XRP. Plus, even if banks were using XRP ( they don't ) there's so much XRP around it would last for millions of years.
XRP is a like a side project. You're so naive you'd buy burgercoin if mcdonald's were to release it.

If you look at how *major* 1st world banks operate and what they are capable of with transfers it boggles the mind why any would bother with Ripple bullshit.. or even Bitcoin itself.

They already have a plethora of options for sending money etc.
Why in gods name would they need Ripple bullshit ?

It's simple they don't.
There are no respectable 1st world major banks using it.
All we hear is some weird ass sketchy bullshit about a bank in Nigeria or Dubai interested in it etc.

I will blow dry the entire Ripple dev team when The Royal Bank of Canada or any other schedule 1 or even schedule 2 bank in Canada ever adopts and uses Ripple for it's intended purpose on a permanent professional basis.

Yup.. i am so confident about this that i will offer "gummers" to the Ripple team.  Shocked
I will drain those cocks dry !
I'll finish those boys off to completion.. toothless crack whore style  Cheesy

In the meantime i might yet *AGAIN* head over to LocalBitcoins.com
And then sell some Bitcoin for a bank transfer via direct bank deposit or Western Union or..
Interac eTransfer.
Remember guys when i posted the fee's chart for Interac ?
Yup it's cheaper than Bitcoin..

Explain to me why a bank would adopt a system of accountability when they do not want any.
Why would they need a ledger system of sorts when they have been using one they already made for decades ?

It's real simple.. does Ripple solve an EXISTING PROBLEM WITH BANKS ?

NO.

..they do not.

Yeah it's just that borderline scams hurt crypto as a whole. Ripple isn't bluntly scamming people with it's useless XRP, but it relies on the fact that most people are clueless and aren't checking things for themselves. They are easy to milk and ripple profits from that.

This kind of people would buy biebercoin any time and then call the whole cryptocurrency ecosystem a scam because they were stupid.

Here's what I don't get about Ripple. How is there any significance to the value of 1 XRP given that it is being used as an intermediary for banking transactions? Whether it's worth .0001 or $100 each, it doesn't matter. So why should the value of the coin be going up for any reason other than people hyping it? The value of the coin is irrelevant to the banks. Why should we expect it to keep rising then? For no reason other than everyone buying it due to the hype?

I am new to cryptos and have a lot of $ invested into XRP but I am also not sure how this coin could ever reach $1. That would put it over the BTC market share at this point and it has no actual value or use to us laymen.

I think the idea behind the company is brilliant but I don't see how that translates to the coin value increasing significant over time past what it already is. Can someone please enlighten me?
