The future value of XRP will ultimately be driven by its adoption as a cross border value transfer mechanism. Though XRP has important attributes which make it particularly useful for this use case, these attributes do not ensure full integration with our enterprise software solution. Ultimately, XRP can be successful regardless of Ripple’s success. Either way, we continue to do everything we can to make sure XRP eventually becomes the digital asset standard for international value transfer. Even Ripple states this, no chance if banks reject it.

I think Ripple will be one of the cryptocurrencies that will be used in the future.
I bought it at about $ 0.37-0.50 and sold it at $ 3.10. Maybe it will reach 5-10 dollar levels.
According to Linkedin, the number of employees in the company is 220. The number of employees in most cryptocurrencies is around 20-30.

no ripple is just a "tactic" of the banksters to be able to leech of the economy

they are currently printing money lend it to each other and cause poverty

this nightmare has to stop

Well, in my opinion. XRP can come up drastically because it's manipulated by "Big Fish", and now can we see the Hype for XRP after the price up and down, stable at $2. Is still worth invest in XRP?

This has no chance to compete with Bitcoin in the long run. It's not useful as a currency, and not useful for banks in any way. It's all empty. I did make some profits with this, but it's dirty money, I'm ashamed. Will not touch again. See how I cannot even bring myself to say the name of this... token...  Sad

Just like rivers return into the ocean, all the money will return to Bitcoin in the end.

not useful? 😂

ripple just announced XRP partnership with moneygram.

Stop being obfuscated when people attack your investments. I don't think xrp is a scam - at least not in the classic sense of the word - but it is a trojan horse and a something that should not be bought by people that want crypto, not some con artists succeed. There are other options for fast, cheap (fee-less even) coins out there. Xrp is the most centralized coin out there. There are 55 nodes as far as I'm aware, all owned by ripple. With centralization of this magnitude, we could scale bitcoin beyond visa levels. So all in all, xrp can eat shit and die as far as I'm concerned. It is a cancerous growth within crypto, as much as bitconnect is.

Ripple is not even a real crypto, it's not mineable, they hold most of the supply, it's not trustless and is centralized. Yes definitely the currency we all need.  Roll Eyes

Welcome to the world of trading, you dont sell the coins because you saw a steep fall in price, ripple does have an acceptance in the Japanese banking system and there is no doubt that the price would recover in the future,so you can either buy now and average your price or wait for the long haul.Hope you have noticed that all of the alt coins went down today.

I state again, long term investments are the safest. If you invest short term you might find yourself in the situation of selling when you shouldn't and buying when you should've sold.

Er. Without XRP, Moneygram can still be used. It may have added a benefit, but what extra thing will not work without Ripple? Partnerships make the companies stronger yes, but not the users. You ask what Bitcoin is doing? That's the whole point, it doesn't need to do anything, and people are already using it. It doesn't need partnerships, promotions, hyping and shilling or bounties, and yet people are buying selling and exchanging it for cash.

You're deluded if you think announcements like that are what makes a coin.

I wouldn't directly compare BTC to XRP.  One is a pioneer and one is just up and coming in its own right.  I know XRP will be big, but I doubt it will ever overcome BTC or ETH.

how am i obfuscating? this person said it's not useful and "has no chance to compete with bitcoin in the long run"... ripple is announcing real partnerships, what's so hard to understand? people continue to argue over what the "true" bitcoin is, and guess what, 2 of them (jihan and roger), have major influence over the bitcoin market. with centralization of that magnitude, it's no wonder people are abandoning it, yet your idealistic views of a world without government is what's hurting you.

ps. ripple has a clear decentralization strategy, to which ultimately no one entity will operate the majority of nodes (with an end game of ripple operating 0). i know, you clearly forgot to mention that... i could care less about people "attacking my investments", i care more about the integrity of real information, not obvious propaganda from people like you who are a cancerous growth within crypto.

you're right, i'm so deluded... forgot that bitcoin doesn't need to do anything, because it's processing transactions which take 51 minutes with an average cost of $20.

After this realization I had to give up on Ripple completely, I sold my shares and am out of Ripple, I need a company that will go down with me and rise with me not one that rises no matter what while I fund them and I very likely may get screwed while they get successful. Open your eyes if you're investing in them.... you are investing in their XRP not Ripple as their employee quickly pointed out to me on twitter. Even regarding their block-chain technology big competitors are coming on the scene soon. The main point though is I need a company that will go down with me and rise with me not one that rises no matter what while I fund them and take all the risk. Why can a company I invest in be successful without me being successful as well, how is that even a possiblity!?! I'm out this is a complete scam and fraud it was obviously knowingly created that way.

DO NOT INVEST IN XRP

Here not only you are facing loss but also many people are facing loss and also many are enjoying this thing in two ways , first are happy to sell Thier coins at high rate and second are those who are looking towards the ripple coin at very low price that can be a better option of the long term investment .
So all is the matter of Timing where people who sold at high and who bought at high are  really doing a work of stupidity as a smart trader . And also we can see that there is lots of example where people are facing loss in coins investment for example people bought digibyte coin , reddcoin at very high rate , here out of them digibyte is currently 500-600 Satoshi which is really a small amount of the actual price that it should be according to increase in the price and investment .
