If there is such a thing as an eternal first cause or God, then this implies that something can exist eternally. Thus even the universe could exist eternally as well, and requires no creator. In such a scenario, Occam's razor would indicate that the universe is itself eternal.

However modern cosmology seems to indicate that our universe is not eternal but rather has a beginning, and so in order to support the eternal universe model, we create a theory where the universe goes through endless expansion-contraction cycles forever. I personally do not believe our universe goes through endless expansion-contraction cycles, because I believe in intelligent design.

In my opinion, a theist believes in an eternal being, but an atheist does not. This is the primary difference.

Since ETE takes many generations, how do we know that it exists? We can't track the changes to claim proof.

The idea that animal A became animal B has nothing but assumptions and talk behind it. These animals might always have been two separate, distinct animals. We don't have DNA record of their change. We don't have it for any creature at all.

Where is the proof for ETE. There isn't any. All there is, is talk about ETE.

ETE might not be a hoax at all if nobody said that it were fact. But since many people say that it is fact, and it is written in many books as fact, and many websites express it as fact, ETE is a hoax because there is no proof that it is fact.

We have no proof of one animal or plant changing into another through what is called ETE. Or do you have one?

Youtube search on "Dawkins evolution." In all the Dawkins videos, everything that Dawkins shows, has to do with why evolution must exist, not that evolution does exist.

Since the fossil record shows that many similar creatures seemed to have popped into being at the same time, why would anyone think that it was evolution that made them?

Prove by filming the past, or by DNA mutation changes, that any creature changed from itself into some other creature over thousands of years.
