In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

The ability to reshape your planet has been added to the Manage Planet function for each planet. To change your planet's image go to your planet and click Manage Planet. Once inside scroll to the bottom of the page and you will find the new section. Having your planets architects restructure your planet will cost 10 Dark Matter.

The ability to deconstruct Drones and receive Credits has been added to the Ship Factory.

Doge withdrawals will be delayed until the Doge wallet completes its synchronization. If you have a pending Doge withdrawal created prior to this date and would like to cancel it or exchange said Doge for another coin in game to withdraw instead this can be done by sending a mail to me (Anarchist) in game or by contacting me via admin@cryptodatabase.net.

Please note, the best way to get in touch me is via the in game mail system or via Skype at CryptoDB. I refresh the game throughout the day whereas I only check my email once or twice, usually when the Dark Wizard reminds me. For Skype, I normally have it on in the background so it would probably be the best route unless I am away from my computer or sleeping.

If you have any suggestions, ideas, complaints, feature changes, etc please feel free to post it in the forums or contact me directly. Your opinion is important to me and I love hearing feedback from players such as yourself.

I had an idea to make the exchanges more interesting, and also to incorporate the BTC and LTC markets more, which aren't really used to most things as 1 Satoshi / Litoshi is too high for one credit etc.

My idea is to create the use of "MegaCredits" and possibly even "GigaCredits".  One of these, in the exchange, is equal to one million (mega) or one billion (giga) credits.  In all other ways this will work the same as the existing credits / crypto markets. 

As always, just an idea!  Grin

A new item has been added to the game called Mega Credits, suggested by TeamDisaster. Mega Credits can be created via the Ship Factory page and cost 1,000,000 Credits to make. The Mega Credits were created as a way to consolidate Credits for use in the exchange.

A new currency option has been added to the in-game exchange for this new item, it can be traded for currencies and other game items.

If you find a bug with this new addition please let me know as soon as possible so it can be corrected.

Players can now warp directly to ports they own or ports that are nearby for 100 Credits by visiting any of the port pages in the Account menu.

I have to admit that I'm finding the MegaCredts market slightly confusing and have yet to be able to successfully place an order.  (~I think the confusion is that rather than buying / selling MC, you are using them to buy / sell other currencies, which is worknig backwards in my brain!).

Given the following scenario, how do I go about it?

I want to sell 20 MC on the LTC market

Megacredits tab - "Buy /Sell LTD" - I want to sell 20 MC at 0.0001LTC each, what do I put in each box?  (Apologies for being dense!!).  I've tried several variations (including a hunch that Rate and Amount were transposed), but still haven't been able to place an order.  As far as I can see no-one else has either, though whether anyone's tried is of course unknown to me.

I have modified the market options to split the MCred market up into groups, for MCred->Currency you can find these in their respective menu options. If you want to sell MC for BTC you would select the BTC option and select Mega Credits. To buy/sell game items select the Mega Credits option then the item.

The following changes have been made to DKV2:U,

1. The amount of Credits, Energy, and Drones you can purchase in the Currency Shop have been increased to 100x your current level.
2. The maximum level for player owned Battle Cruisers has been increased to 15,000.
3. Attack power of Rebel Drones have been increased for Rebel ships above level 999.

If you experience any bugs with these new additions please mail me (Anarchist) as soon as possible so it can be fixed and as always, thank you for playing DKV2:U

Valerian Monster Cards

A new card system has been added to the game. The new cards can be gained by playing the new minigame Cards of Chance found in Valeria at 0,0. Every hour players can roll the Cards of Chance dice and win a prize based on what they roll. Players can win 1-3 random cards, 1-2 booster packs, or nothing at all if they are unfortunate.

Players can access their cards at any time by clicking on the Account menu and selecting Valerian Cards.

Cards of Chance Prizes

3   2 Random Cards
4   Nothing
5   1 Random Card
6   1 Random Card
7   1 Booster Pack
8   2 Booster Packs
9   1 Random Card

Valerian Card Exchange

Cards collected from the Cards of Chance game or Booster Packs can be traded in for Credits, Drones, Energy, Crystals, extra Cargo Bay storage, or extra Drone Bay storage while in Valeria. More options may be available in the future, suggestions are welcomed.

Valerian Missions - Cards

A new mission (#13) has been added to Valeria where you can gain Dark Matter for obtaining new cards, this mission goes up to level 10.

Very nice Update, I tested some things out.

I used 5 times changetoken and now i need to wait 5 hours until i can get a free card, bug?

Could you maybe add a indicator that shows how long a Ion Cube is running?

Ah yes, pricing is way off for those two items. It should be the 1-10 amounts but not priced for 1-512 like it is now. This will take a bit to do but I'll look into getting that fixed as soon as I get home today.

The 5 hour issue should be sorted out now, it was using the wrong timezone code for some reason.

For the indicator, do you have an idea of where you would like to see it?

Sounds good to me, except I made it lime green instead when an Ion Cube is activated. Darker colors don't do well for some of the dark themes so I normally put notices or indicators as red or lime.

The rewards for referrals have been modified. Referrers now receive +1 Credit each time one of their referrals warps to another galaxy in the universe. The more they play, the more credits you can earn.

Many updates of this game are very much welcome although game becomes more complicated because of it and takes more time to adopt everything.

My Alliance, Deep Space Voyager Alliance, now has 13 members and still accepting new ones.

Those two members with highest level rank will get promoted to Sub-Commander, currently mush003 and lucasanremo are those two players.

I've been trying to space apart big updates or entirely new features so it's not like it was with DKV2 where new stuff was coming out back to back.

The unfortunate side of no new updates is players get bored doing the same thing and over the month or so of no large updates player rates dropped from around 85 to 65ish per day but has started picking back up again with 93 active in the last 24 hours.

I just have to find the equilibrium between new updates and when players would be expecting new ones or other stuff.

Maybe one way to do this would be to have a regular / semi-regular schedule for updates (weekly?) and pre-announce what will be included in the next update, along with a change list when the update is actually announced as going live?
