I can say that bitcoin is way more better than gold when it becomes to uses. Bitcoin can be transact easily and less hassle with just a press of your fingers. Gold in other hand, are hard to send or receive because it's heavy. But when it becomes to investment they are both good, but bitcoin is the future, the value of it will always be higher than gold. And it can work lile banks of real money and thats gold cannot do.

Yes that an awesome thing about bitcoin and if you compared it from other cryptos, its much higher advantage in terms of price stability for now. Eventhough it's not that stable, but generally the demand rises compared from fiat and gold. I couldn't agree more about it's good price for now, and all I have to say is no matter how hard the situation is; bitcoin is much better than gold.

Bitcoin is certainly better than gold. I had earlier read an article somewhere where they say that if you had invested 10grand in bitcoin and gold simultaneously in 2010, the btc investment would be worth $200m today while your gold investment would be standing at $9900. It's therefore a no brainer as to which asset is more valuable.

In terms of investment, there is no doubt that bitcoin is the best investment because of its continuous rapid growth in all aspects like community and also in the price so if you have patience to wait at least 10 years then you can make a lot of money with bitcoin by just simply investing in bitcoin and keeping it on a safe place for a few years from now.

I agree with you, Bitcoin is not standing in one place, it can also be used like a currency to pay for things online so that its usages make its price keep changing which enable Bitcoin investors to have chance to make profits with Bitcoin.

1) Portability - moderate.  Lets apply some reality to this, a $40k gold bar is the size of a smart phone.  How many people here at any point in their lives have walked around with so much cash that it would equate to more than a 1kg bar or two what would easy fit in your pockets.

2) Divisibility - moderate.  You can buy gold in grains which is 1/15 of a gram.

3) Security  - moderate.  I bet I can come up with more major bitcoin hacks than you can major gold heists in the last few years.  Also take a quick look at the scam accusation thread on this forum then find me an equivalet version on a precious metals forum.

4) Easily transactable - Low.  I have strolled in to a bullion dealer, handed over 50oz of gold and the money was in my bank straight away.  Scale that up, some days several hundred million dollars of gold are dumped within seconds on the market.  If that happened to bitcoin there would be a major crash.

5) Decentralized - low.  Gold can be purchased virtually anywhere in the world.  It is also mined in numerous countries.

6) Anonomous - low - You can buy and sell gold for cash without any paper work or I.D requirements

7) Durability - low - They are pulling gold artifacts out of the ground that are thousands of years old and look as good as the day they were made.  Its an element that doesnt rust or degrade.

8 ) Scare - Moderate.  All the gold ever mined would fit on 1 tennis court.

9) Sovereign (Goverment issued) - Low.  Ever hear of "Sovereigns"    Nearly every country in the world has government issued gold coins

Based on the graph that you showed it really shows that bitcoin is really good in everything even in us dollar. The only problem that bitcoin has, is that the government cannot approved bitcoin to be a legal currency because some people use bitcoin for criminal activities that is very wrong. I hope that bitcoin can be approved by the government.

Depends on what you mean by "better'" as both serve different purposes aside being used as store of value . Maybe in the long run Bitcoin may be better if it becomes possible to produce gold in Factories.

That’s what exactly my point is. Bitcoins have their own place in the world, their own significance and same is the case with gold. There is no comparison between two. But still if we do comparison, bitcoins are far better to hold than gold and are far more beneficiary to investors.
