So Bitcoin is better than Gold?  Yes bitcoin allows you to transfer a truckload of funds to and fro seamlessly and even without a trace in an instant. However gold has something that bitcoin would never have or would only have in the future. And that is consistency and not the volatility of cruptocurrencies Bitcoin and gold are very good safe haven, although there is high volatilty in bitcoin but it will be decrease in the future. Gold is sensitive to dollar movement. If dollar weaker, the gold is cheaper for holders of foreign currency. So both have weaknesses at a certain time. But I am sure that gold price will not depend on dollar anymore if the north korea war happen, its just my oppinion. |

bitcoin is the currency and also the investment asset, while gold serves only as an asset. From here already looks a lot of difference. Gold is supported by silver, bronze, and some other components but not as much as bitcoin support, many compact altcoins make larger bitcoins every day.

For me yes because bitcoin is decentralized and much safer to keep than gold. Also the price of bitcoin is fast to pump or fast to dump. And bitcoin also is really good investment for future.

The value of gold increases, but not quickly there are even times that gold becomes cheap depending on which country it is from. Bitcoin, on the other hand, it's value increases gradually. Thus, making it more valuable than gold. |

I think it will depend upon the usage.
Bitcoin is far more advantageous when it comes to transportability. Since you can transfer a huge amount of bitcoin with ease as compared to transferring huge volume of gold. And as far as i know it is illegal in some countries to possess huge amount of gold.

Obviously bitcoin is better than gold, not only gold but also any other valuable things. Price variation is too much high and too much low, but bitcoin due to its caption at a certain level, dose not know low value only high and higher high. Bitcoin easier access by anyone and can buy or hold bitcoin anywhere, So no doubt bitcoin is much better than gold.

Maybe you can compare them i terms of how famous gold over Bitcoin and the value of Bitcoin over Gold. Bitcoin is just starting to bloom and grow so you can not compare it easily in gold. Some people trust much more Gold than Bitcoin well crypto currency or digital currency is still new to their mind. |

So Bitcoin is better than Gold? Its value is higher than gold but I think if it talks about gold futures it is more stable than bitcoin. You can not be sure that bitcoin can exist in the next few years, but gold can still exist. People cannot earn gold literally because it was very hard to get and its not possible for everyone. Bitcoin is a lot easier and the only requirement that you have is a device that can connect to the internet. Maybe in the future, gold will lost its value and bitcoin will dominate the entire world since crypto currency is easier and too main stream. yes, we can earn bitcoin very easier than gold because gold is not a currency and not afford anyone to use, but bitcoin is one of the way to use for anyone so my thoughts as a currency is bitcoin much better than gold . Yes its true it's value is higher than gold and I think bitcoin is very good safe and sound from gold because it’s easy to carry there is no fear of steeling or robbery of bitcoin and the most important thing is bitcoin is a currency and it’s easy to use. |

Yes for me, because gold's value is limited for me and its a hassle to trade or exchange even if you have one on hand it is hard to asses the price even in your local shops unlike bitcoins where you get real time data of its value and even trade or use it to by seamlessly with a touch of a button. |

No i dont agree with this statement that "Bitcoin is better than gold". No doubt investing in Bitcoin will provide us with more profits than investing in gold but we cant make our decision only on the basis of the profit factor. Risk factor is another factor that should be taken into consideration .The investments in Bitcoin are more risky than investments in gold because of the fluctuating price of Bitcoin.Moreover gold is a traditional and trusted asset and it will take years for Bitcoin to gain that amount of trust .

I think bitcoin is not better than Gold although at the moment the price of bit coin is higher than Gold. Gold is one of the most versatile metals. Maybe someday we can stop using gold for technology. But that day isn't now or even in these few decades. Even this century. I say century because quantum computers are coming and those need gold. Humanity will be using quantum computer for centuries before we can something find better, if at all.
