They need to add something to the 'value' of MCO. Many people (myself included) were attracted to the value created for MCO from holding a small portion of every purchase in an account where you could burn your MCO for a portion of the total.

Without that (or something similar), why would you need any more than, say, 50 MCO to get your card and that's it?

To run such an ambitious scheme I'm guessing they need more funding and income streams so also worried that token value will be whittled down over time through venture capital deals. Really not sure anymore where MCO will end up!

Still excited to get a card though, just glad I'm not holding huge bags at this stage!

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

are you kidding me ?

bvolume more 3600 more 23 000 000$ and your bid and ask is lower then general

8 am morning 300 bitcoin = -0.135

now after 3000 bitcoin more volume = 0.125

this is not possible ... this is not bad is anormal not legal result.

I ask the canadien security agency to do checkup of your "trade" result.

this is not possible, it seems there is something fishy going on here...
cant be legal whats going on here...
Just stay 'home' with your nonsense FUD. There were news, which are expected to raise the volume. And an increase in volume doesn't imply an increase in price either.

The prices went down because one very important core feature of the token was eliminated over night with nothing to replace it, which is why large investors dumped to account for the lowered token value.

The only thing "fishy" going on here is the fact that Kris stated that sharing fees with investors was "pointless" and the nonsensical post that you've quoted and followed up on.

i just read you earlier post about the token being featureless now...
i didnt know that but this does not explain why 2500 btc buys and 900 btc sells can create such a price on bittrex seriously
Yes, it's a major disappointment for all serious investors. And unforuntately for the crypto world all the short term flippers don't care about this and keep pretending that this is irrelevant and keep shilling. Just shows how many liars there are in crypto.

Still hoping that Kris will address this directly and find a workaround. But if he stays with his bs statement that "the asset contract is pointless anyways" I will dump my MCO too.
so how to explain the price have a big rise yesterday, does it mean the big holder manipulating the market to get more people involved which give him the space to escape?

can u share the link with this statement please? but why would he do that? the company will still give you the cashback in mco?!
maybe he want the mco price to be really cheap and use it like miles on real cars where its normal to have a 30.000 and more...

ps - you are right .. crypto is full of bad people and brainless lemmings that would follow anyone that just smells like a lead....

so the only point to hold MCO is to get a non standard card.
So, if ruby one costs 50 MCO holding, and usual card fee in bank (very very rought) is USD 5-10, so price of one MCO should be ~ 0.1-0.2 USD

The founders of MCO made a great job by hyping so much investors and funds on the rumors/promises and screwing them in the end, nice job.

Better get your MCOs now before the next buy wave! Many people will want to get those 50 MCO cards locked!!!

right now card is only 18.000, means

900.000 token only. Compare to 9.900.000 suply, it is only 10%. And with no asset contract, there is no reason to hold your mco token. Wink

18,000 only when they still not announce yet about visa. Now they have announced about visa approval so sooner or later the number will increase, because people will not worry to order monaco card

Is the VISA deal now confirmed or not? And why doesn't VISA itself step forward and let the public know about finalization of the deal or ongoing negotiations?

Because they didn't announce straight. Today "green light", tomorrow "sorry, red light". Not the best experience with that company, but interesting where it will go Smiley

Maybe they just do not even know who is Chris ?))) Mastercard develops its own crypto currency. Perhaps the Visa will develop its own crypto currency. Why should they support a competitor?  The chance to get Visa support was very small and many people said that, but they were not heard.

Good news from Chris but hard to understand why price dump so much, look like Visa not confirm about this news, and Monaco post like a rumor.

The update was that the asset contract function has been removed, and nothing has replaced it.

Oh and also visa, which was promised for months Smiley

Being on more exchanges just facilitates trading. on the long term what matters is the value of MCO token, now that it's not backed by the asset contract it is worthless, therefore, there will be no demand. That is NOT a positive development, they tried to sneak this past everyone by releasing it at the same time as the VISA announcement.
