Hello all,
I have an "interesting" problem. I have four rx560 4gb GPUs, two XFX and two MSI Aero. XFX are on x16 slots on MBO, MSI on x1, on risers. The problem is that GPU0 and GPU1 are on 12 MH/s but GPU2 and GPU3 are 5,3 MH/s. I flashed them with BIOSes from this forum. I tested MSI on WIN10 and it goes for a 14 MH/s and XFX is max 13 MH/s. Linux Mint, 4.10 kernel, amdgpu-pro.17.40 driver, for a blockchain. Claymore 10.5, ETH/sia Two PSU, 400W and 550W, MBO AM2+, quad core proc, 8 GB RAM. There's plenty hdd space, 16gb swap.
Now, the problem is that's too low hashrate on two cards, I don't have an idea how to fix it. I tries some solutions from net but no avail. Commands from claymore seems not working. Can anyone help me with this? Would it be better if all four GPU are on risers?
I have 3 x1 on MBO and 2 x16, so I am planing for a fifth GPU but...not till I solve this problem.
Would have initially said check your page file, but it seems to match your 4x4gb @ 16gb. I'm thinking here is some sort of BIOS limitation - can I ask what CPU you are using? It's not an APU is it? There is some sort of bottleneck when you are running more than 2 cards - most of those boards are rated for SLI, but it really depends on the board with anything more than that. I recommend maybe getting a cheap AM3 board with a Piledriver or maybe an FX6300, should run stable.

On Linux you need special kernel parameters for mining: "amdgpu.vm_fragment_size=9". Put them in /etc/default/grub, execute update-grub and reboot.

Maybe it is MBO, my thoughts too I but have to ask and check, it's a bit incovinient to buy new MBO, Proc and RAM. Grub parameter is already there so it's not that.

For anyone that is looking for a bios for the Gigabyte RX 560 Gaming OC 4GB cards with Hynix memory, here is a bios that works great. Use the following settings with it. Power Limit % -15, Temp. Limit 90, Core Clock 1149, Memory Clock 2000. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1xIME2dGdYKYwbi1AijagSMeQTnfMz7rH

What hashrate you getting with this BIOS? What driver you using? What OS? What temps card running at? What strap you using? speeds & voltage set in Claymore or Afterburner or other?

Hi guys, First of all, this topic has been very informative. Thank you all very much for sharing your knowledge and information Sadly, I didn’t do my homework before buying 12 x Sapphire Radeon RX 560 Pulse 4GB (11267- 18-20G). I thought I got a good deal, only later to find out this model is severely gimped. As stated before in this topic, it only has 896 shaders, less TMU, 1500Mhz and less Bandwidth: https://i.imgur.com/lIYIFl5.pngI can’t return them anymore so I have to make the best of it…. However, it looks like my card is just a softlocked ‘normal’ Sapphire Radeon RX 560 Pulse OC 4GB (11267- 00-20G). I have been able to unlock the shaders to 1024, the TMU to 64 and my memory chips are also ‘normal’ MT51J256M3 (MICRON) a.k.a. they run at 1750Mhz by default. https://i.imgur.com/dJfr57K.pngI’ve tried different straps (from Wacko, Branko, One Click Timing from PSBEditor 1.6.7, the BIOS straps website with the Nyan cat logo and the ‘top secret’ 15Mhs strap) and was able to push this ‘gimped’ card to 12.1MH/s. Sadly, I can’t do much more because of the limitation in Bandwidth. It’s locked to 96 GB/s and I need the full 128 GB/s in order to push the hashrate even further. Changing/raising the TDP and TDC made no difference; the cards just keeps using the same wattage (which is odd I think). My question: Is it possible to unlock/BIOSmod the Bandwidth to 128 GB/s as well? @Branko: Do you see any room for more improvements in my BIOS mod? For those of you interested in my ROM: Stock ROM (without any modifications): http:// data .freek. ws/public/11267-18-20G/RX560_STOCK.rom ROM with shaders unlocked to 1024 (no other modifications): http:// data .freek. ws/public/11267-18-20G/RX560_UNLOCKED.rom ROM with unlocked shaders, Branko’s strap and increased max. memory frequency (for use with claymore): http:// data .freek .ws/public/11267-18-20G/RX560_12MHs.rom ( REMOVE THE SPACES IN THE URL. I could'nt link directly to my server, it got flagged my bitcointalk) The last ROM (the one with Branko’s strap) will give you 12.1MH/s at Ethereum mining using Claymore 10.6 and the following settings: -cclock 1275 -mclock 2225 -cvddc 1000 -mvddc 850 Thank you very much for your time Windows 10 - 64-bit Biostar TB250-BTC PRO Ver. 6 AMD Adrenalin 18.1.1 Claymore 10.6 Theres no "limitation" in bandwith, its just a number you get based on memory bus width and memory speed, so when you OC memory, you also get better bandwidth. 12.1 is low with such big frequency, so either of 2 things happened: 1. claymore command to set frequency doesn't work (in that case, use wattman instead) 2. you forgot to change workload from graphics to compute in wattman GL, and may the hashing power be with you I need original BIOS for Saphire RX 560 Pulse 4GB (11267-18-20G) I heve 2pcs of this cards and I bought with modified bios, and now I need original. Cards is making about 14.4 MH/s with Hive OS and for price they are really good, consuption about 40w in GPU-Z. Btw this is card with 896 Stream Processors and 1500 MHz Memory clock Thanks

560 is no good for mining how every 580's are expensive but if u get 8gb one u can duel mine and ROI will be fast

it only work up to 1950 . Hi But why it's so? Such cards have another hw components? I've tried to change limit in bios and also have tried special option in AB. The both does not work. Do you know where the 1950 limit is set? At bios level? At win drivers level? Thanks PS. I have sapp 11267-18-20G

But maybe I misunderstood your question

The limit is set by the nature.
I'm not sure I understand what do you mean by "nature"? There is software and there is hardware. For other cards I can change the limit in BIOS and software (AB for instance) allow to "operate" up to this limit. I.e. software read somehow the limit set in the BIOS. Also AB uses some "trick" to bypass this limit if the corresponding option is set. For the 560 cards the both ways just do not work. I'd like to know why. My cards work pretty stable at 1950. And I'd like to try let say 2000.

Any with experience with Sapphire Pulse RX560 4GB (6pin) - 11267-20-20G? I got mislead by a retailer that it is the 1024 model, but turned out to be 896. Before I reach out to them and try to return it, do you think it can be unlocked to 1024?
One more thing - I have the following hashrates both with Hynix: RX560 (1024), 1750 Strap, 2000mhz clock - 12,5mh/s single ETH RX560 (896), 1750 Strap, 1850mhz clock - 11,5mh/s single ETH
Do you think I can get much higher then this and how?

560s are weak for mining. Wait a week or two and there should be new batch of cards in Europe.
we already started to get them btw.

The only way is to try. I've managed to unlock several cards. However there was no luck with several others. Also, from my experience the unlocking gives no hash rate increase (at least for ethash).
All my RX560 (sapp and asus) give 13+ mh/s. The maximum is around 13.2mh.
