But sweeping extends privacy or ?
Sweep: Move coins from Address 1 to Address 2 in your wallet.
Import: Coins from Address 1 can now be spent from your wallet.

For privacy, it doesn't really matter which you use. The most important thing is to use a new wallet, so that your next transaction won't be linked with your old addresses.

I would recommend importing the private keys and not using the sweep function as that will allow you better control of the transactions fees. Sweep functions usually just use the recommended fee.

But sweeping extends privacy or ?

https://99bitcoins.com/know-more-private-key-import-vs-sweep-difference/

Not really. If you use Electrum and make a wallet just for the chips, import the private keys to the chips and then send them to another wallet then the privacy will be exactly the same but you have more control of the transaction(s).

From ChipMixer's FAQ:

Quote
What will happen if I send less than lowest chip?

Since we don't have chips lower than 0.001 BTC, your deposit will be treated as donation. Be aware that if you send 0.0015 BTC, you will receive one 0.001 BTC chip. Sending 0.0015 BTC twice will result in three 0.001 BTC chips.

Could someone give me an guess about privacy with these constellation:

Wallet 1 --> Temp Wallet (like blockchain.info)  --> Chipmixer TOR  ( Splitting ) --->   KeyImport ( not sweep)--> Wallet 2

The Wallet1 and 2 are created on the same Computer with the same Program ( Electrum with Tor Connection) but not linked with any Transaction.

Am I on an good safe side ?

I don't see a reason to use the "Temp Wallet".

Can you get a new Tor circuit before opening Wallet 2?

Good Point Thnks

Yes i can close the wallet 1 open the wallet 2  and change the circuit. For this I use the tor browser in the background so i dont need the standalone tor and the update will be procced automatically

How about this:
Wallet 1 --> Exchange (No KYC)  --> Chipmixer TOR  (Splitting) --->  KeyImport (not sweep) --> Wallet 2
this would mix your coins twice, the exchange would somewhat emulate a coin mixer too
choose an exchange with no verification requirement for the same reason you use mixer
of course there is a risk doing it via exchange and extra tx fee that they usually charge higher than normal

or replace Exchange (No KYC) with freebitco.in (low fee) or another gambling sites
freebitco.in has low withdrawal fee at the moment but the same risk applied, entrusting your bitcoin to third party

Be very careful with using gambling sites, especially if you're dealing with large amounts... if you have a read through the scam accusation threads and gambling forums you'll find "scam" accusations against sites who have blocked "suspicious" withdrawals... in several instances it would appear to be people attempting to "launder" coins through various gambling sites.

Additionally, a number of sites will have "play through" or turnover requirements that require you to wager a various amount before you can withdraw.

How about this:
An exchange or casino can hide a connection for the outside world, but make no mistake: they keep their own records of all transactions forever!

What about a simple Wallet 1 -> ChipMixer -> Wallet 2? Or if for some reason you still want to go through 2 hops, I believe that using a different mixer (or mixing twice through ChipMixer) would be best idea. At least they work with the idea that they don't keep logs. While most exchanges/casinos don't give a damn and will log everything they can.

No but the way with explain everything around it and why gambling sites are a bad choice and

of course may if youre going to buy sth. like  for an gorvernment critical organisation  like greatfire or wikilekas it's a good a idea to take the

additional second layer of anonymity in form of an second mixer.

Hey guys

I ve got some considerations about to transfer your funds from chipmixer.

From my point of view there 2 opinions to transfer your funds.

1. Transfer over Sweeping:

Good: No private key is involved.
Bad: Fee and the transaction is on Blockchain

2. Transfer directly with export the private key

Good: no traces on blockchain and no fees
Bad: Chipmixer already knows the private key and could theoretically own your funds.

Is this cocrrect so far ?  And if so then i have to trust chipmixer in an unlimited way or ?

If you send funds to ChipMixer, you already handed over the control of your funds to a centralized party, so that doesn't make things any different or 'less secure' when it comes to ChipMixer knowing the private keys of your chips. The idea of the private keys you get from chips is that you empty them as soon as possible. You can delay this process as much as you want, but that all depends on your personal trust in ChipMixer. I personally tend to wait between 1 and 5 days, which also depends on the date the chip was created....

sweeping only provides extra convenience to users who does not have import abilities
getting private keys was meant for immediate use not long storage (privkeys known by ChipMixer)
yes basically it's how much you trust ChipMixer, you entrusted your bitcoin when you make deposit

you have 3rd option: 3. Receive voucher code
If you trust ChipMixer like you're holding those private keys now, I recommend getting a voucher code instead
and only export chip amount as needed and get the rest on a voucher code again,
you can combine voucher code with your next deposit to create a new voucher code
once you have a big enough whole chip, get a single private key and send to yourself with your own preferred fee

What did you mean with "empty" ?  Did you mean if i export the private key into my wallett the key is useless for an third party ( in this case chipmixer)?

But you still know this  private key before i'm able to export these into my walett  or ?
