Seems so, the time is right if you are in the market for used cards or rigs, but be aware of high roi even if you biught rigs with cheap price, todays 1-1.5 usd per gtx 1080ti is very low and no one knows if there would be more ernings within half of the year..
I think they will. Maybe not so fast so hodling is only solution for now. |

Nvidia will sell mining GPUs soon
We already have mining GPUs and those are not used even by the miners due to very high prices in comparison with regular cards, not to mention their ridiculous warranty period of only few months and very limited resale value  If they intend to go down that path again then no thanks. Also in the EU there are strict laws that require that seller must give basic warranty of at least 12/24 months so this cards have been available only for short period of time. You sure that they cant sell it as oem and put 3 months warranty on it/say its refurbished or second hand or what ever they call it.I ask because in my county you can find those mining gpus only with 3 month warrranty(europe but not in eu) Yes, it's generally complete nonsense to take such cards here. Not only that they are sticks and trimmings, which then you will not sell to anyone in the case of anything, so also 3 months of guarantee this in our business is just the height of stupidity, to agree to this!  |

It depends on price. If it will be 25-35% cheaper - i`ll buy it. Even when you are buying 12 months guarantee cards - you have 45 days guarantee repair period. I`ll better change coolers by myself, then waiting guarantee. One way to use guarantee - when the card is really broken, non-perear, but i haven`t seen it yet. |

not yet, the rumour is that they might reveal in the next few days, i guess to try to get miners to buy them before they reveal the next gamign card. But the points above still stand, resale, warrenty, and fucnctionality. Unless they are significantly cheaper i think people prefer the chance to go for the gaming cards. I might pick up a couple of its true, jsut to add to my mini rig and then wait for the next gen ones. |

Unless they are significantly cheaper i think people prefer the chance to go for the gaming cards.
I might pick up a couple of its true, jsut to add to my mini rig and then wait for the next gen ones.
I highly doubt they'll be much cheaper than the normal ones. We've already seen it with their previous attempt (failed one IMO). |

And I am not really sure they will take that path because the profit in that industry is beyond good will for gamers or anyone else for that matter.
They can pretend that they care for one side or the other but in reality for them it's the same if money they take comes from gamer or miner.
With this move they will maybe try to to play good Samaritan with both side.

This is really not a good question, simply because every miner has different situation on his back at the moment, so good strategy for someone is not good strategy for you or vise versa. Maybe someone bought his cards 2 years ago and someone 2 months ago, electricity cost perk KW can be very high or very low depending on country or region you are living, coins you mined can be long term good projects or trash for pump that already passed, etc.... Also someone bough all this equipment from his pocket -fiat or crypto- , and someone got a loan to start because he saw opportunity. |

HODL for a long time or mine-sell-cashout. If you need money now - mine and cashout. If you havn`t problems with money - mine, convert to BTC and HODL. May be for the months, may be for years |
