Good point indeed

Didn't saw this problem when I had 4 cards per rig

noob here, just started mining on nicehash with an old 980ti and a 1050ti and bought a few 1070's before the price doubled on newegg (wtf)
Anyways was going to grab a 1080 ti or like.... 6 of them but was wondering if anyone here is still using nicehash? What do you guys get per
day with one single 1080ti on nicehash in usd?
I'll probably wait until i get my first payout with nicehash then move on to something else. Pulling in $10.00 per day with what I have.
Thanks!

Very interesting...Thanks for sharing.  I actually stopped using intervals that low, maybe I shouldn't of!    I noticed that some algos take several mins to get up to full hash.   I will for sure take another look at that method in the future.
Yeah exactly, and sometimes it takes 3 to 4 minutes for 3 or 4 gpu to start hashing
It do not happen often, but it happen

I'm using blake2s, lyra2re2, phi tribus skein x17 nist5 skunk neoscrypt
I was thinking about disable some algos

Had pretty good success with just x17.
Was doing just Nist a few days ago which was also nice.

Interesting that you took Equihash out of the list but kept so many others in there.  I've been tempted to limit my miners down to 3, Equihash, Lyra2re2 and Neoscrypt, but I've heard some good things about Blake in this thread.  I find that currencies mined with Skein don't usually stay profitable for more than 10-15 minutes before fallen back down again, or at least that was my impression.

Are you guys auto-converting?

I'm thinking about going back to zcoin or zencash and mine on MPH.  At least MPH will let you control payouts.  It sucks most yiimp pools don't allow that.

Now a days profit and price really down :/ , was doing nist5+x17 ,but now their profit is gone down the drain gonna switch to phi and see how that effects if its not that good gonna go back to auto switch on ahashpool.
Anyways guys what do u guys use to control ur rigs , currently was using team viewer but its sometimes just doesnt work .
Also are u guys keeping ur coins in alts or btc right now ?? Cause btc + many alts seem down atm , bitcoin going below 10 k wasnt expecting that

Now it is hard time came. The profits will be very low till the end of spring I guess, so I guess we need to lower PL on the cards and keep mining every profitable coins we can find. As per the graphs for previous years should be better spring/summer

well, it is not the best option right now as I see on calculator, the diff is still higher then 20K, so the profits is not really high
so even LUX is better now then zcoin .. but of course the profits are falling drastically and very fast

Just one advice from what i saw the last two weeks. Mine newly released MN coins wait till they hit the exchange and you’ll see the initial gold rush where the coin goes up by 200-300%. Dump them between that range and enjoy the downhill ride Smiley
Planning to do this on Argo just waiting for it to hit the exchange, MN presales were sold for over 2 BTC each the greed seems endless.

Yeah, I always only do 1 algo.   I did quite a bit of testing with 2 x 6x1080ti rigs and found that the over a day or so the 24hr actual always beat the current and that the mono always beat all of them.   I did it over a week or so and didn't keep the best notes but a close second was a 1 hr switch off a 24hr actual.   I get up and check the 24hr actual and point everything at it, regardless of pool or algo.   I do keep an eye on the 24hr as some pop into the top and out of it pretty quick and I don't usually go for those.  Been a lot of Blake2s lately, but I've seen phi get into it a bit more lately so I thought I'd pop on it and so far it has done well...actually most I was getting on Blake2s over the last week was a bit over .006 so to see a .008 over 24hrs was nice.   I'll run with it for a bit and keep an eye on the 24 hr actuals.

What have you been mining?

Thanks for the insight. I was wondering if you ever just see flat lines on your profitability graph. I'm working with about 147 and 57 Mh rigs, and there are stretches of 30-60 mins where my graph completely flatlines. This never happens with me when I'm just mining Blake2s, so if this inconsistency is a regular occurrence (because I don't have enough computing power), I might just point it at B2s unless Phi is significantly more profitable.

Equihash is out because not supported on ahashpool Wink

This last 24h, most used algos were :
1.2. (very close) blake2s & tribus
3.4. (very close too) skein & x17
5. nist5
6. phi
7. lyra2v2
8. neoscrypt

And ahashpool autoconvert in BTC yes
Did 0,006 BTC these last 24h (did some tweaks/power on&off on rigs, not my best day btw)

If you guys have other feedback about daily income

Ah, gotcha.  I'm on MPH, wonder why it isn't supported on AHashpool.  For me Equihash usually owns 4 out of the top 5 slots for most profitable coins(ZEN/ZCL/BTG/ZCL) With FTC popping up every now and then.  I've been sticking primarily with more well known coins but maybe I should diversity with another pool with some smaller coins as well.

My thoughts exactly  Wink Would be good to do some research with the new coins, see what looks promising and just stock up for the summer.

Yeah I see flat spots on PHI even with 12 x 1080ti's.   I believe it just depends on how often a block is solved.   You're probably fine with blake2s or x17 on ahashpool

Yiimp with Keccackc (CREA) was not too bad today.  Probably in line with Blake2S on Zpool

The conversation here is interesting but 256 pages....gosh!

What would be the milestones of the thread if you had to advise on reading, say, 10 pages?

Or a sum-up of the miners, coins, auto-switching, auto-converting, ?

Just read backwards for a while.
Anything too old is likely useless/outdated.

Do I really need to set the display to "never" turn off in the Power options/Plan settings? Wouldn't it be more reasonable to just set it to auto Turn Off in, say, 5 minutes, especially if there is no display connected to the rig? So that the card doesn't spend resources on trying to send the signal to the dvi or hdmi connection...

Why does Verge (Lyra2REv2) suddenly bump to the top in whattomine from time to time? It doesn't seem to be related to the value of the coin.
