When do YOU sell?

I will sell my bitcoin when the price is right.Because they predict that bitcoin for 2017 will be at 2000$.I have to hold my BTC and wait for the high price so that before entering year 2018 I build my own house.There should be a proof  that BTC makes changes especially in home finance that the stage of my life be level up.

At this point, im not selling unless its completely necessary or like an emergency. If i can use money aside from my btcs i would prefer to spend it as i realize how storing btc would be essential in making more profits once the right time for selling comes, which i don't think is here yet.

That's why its is important to invest only an amount that you can afford to lose. So you don't have to bother to sell it if an emergency has arises. As for me, I just invest just a portion every time I can. And not invest to big because it certain situation, I will not have to sell it. Just saying.

Keeping some money for emergency is better for those people who cannot withdraw immediately while those people who can withdraw immediately like who have their bitcoin debit cards then they will have to invest their money in bitcoin. As with bitcoin debit card they can cash their bitcoin within a minute from any ATM.

Even they can withdraw anytime, having the Bitcoin debit card, it's not a good idea. Because we don't know when emergencies will happen, what means it can happen while the BTC price is cheaper than the moment you bought it. So you will lose money by converting it to fiat on that moment. Emergency money should still continue in fiat, it's safer. Just sell BTC more expensive than you bought.

Nobody knows when is the highest profit for you to sell, it is just a matter of your self decision in when will you pull out your investment no matter what is the percentage of your gains. And this is where the Technical Analysis is best suit in this kind of situations, because by this we are not trading blindly like we are placing a bet on a gambling machines. You will be making a good amount of percentage in holding altcoins though but I am not holding it for too long because I believe 'For every high there is a low' and for 'For every low there is a high' and that being said I am making profit out of it.

I don't have any plan to sell at a moment as price is not too high for me so I will be holding my coins till it reaches to the price of $5000 and I am sure that it will surely touch that price in next couple of years and once it reaches there I will sell all my bitcoins.

Selling is done irrespective of the price. I keep hold of my earnings to profit big in the future and in between if things​ go out of prediction and there is a true requirement to sell the bitcoin then without hesitation I sell it because it is helping me now which I was planning for the same purpose in the future.

So impressive ! I believe this is how every bitcoiner must need to do for a better future along with bitcoin saving.

When one person will be believing in to bitcoin completely then he must be taking decisions like how you are doing. Unfortunately people are entering into bitcoin just like how they are investing/trading other investment opportunities. They buy at some price levels and will be booking profits at some levels and then will forget completely.

But bitcoin definitely is not belonging into that category, it is a kind of life changing opportunity. We must save whatever bitcoin we will be getting and definitely we can have better future buy saving bitcoins.

For me there is no certain rules to decision for sell orders. It depends on my mood at that time. If I think that I got enough profit then I sell. Or sometimes even If I don't make profit but If I think price will go down more, then I sell earlier even if I loss some money.

Right now e don't expect more increment in bitcoin price. People are waiting for August 1st after that they are expecting the bitcoin price will reach our target. But this is not sure. So my suggestion is if you have bitcoins try to increase your coins with any other work. It is maybe trading or investing. But don't sell now just wait for some days.

Yeah right and you are good that you hold your bitcoin for long time and do not sell with low price when it's price increase then you need sell it is a good way and after two years I also sure that bitcoin price will touch 5000$, that time you sell your bitcoin you will have very large amount of money and with more pleasure .

That is a great idea. Waiting for the price of bitcoin and ethereum till that time and then selling at that time will gve you a good profit if you have a good amount of bitcoin but for bitcoin if you will wait for longer term then it may increase more higher.

That is good plan for good future to hold your bitcoin for long time and you can not wants to sell soon, and I think it is possible that in future the  bitcoin price will reach to 10,000$ but it can take long time I think five to eight years later the price of bitcoin will reach to $10,000, and you hold your bitcoin for long term to wait that time  that is good job for the bright future.

I also do that. I hold some of my bitcoin for my future hoping it will burst to $10,000 and if that happens we all have same fate. Because we are having a good amount of faith to the coin. The goal is that the bitcoin will move upwards each day and we will have a good run in the future.

Any time I'm selling and as of fact a while ago I sold 0.007 BTC as I need some allowance here at work until midnight. But that only happens when I'm actually into emergency. And for the whole amount of bitcoin's I've got, I will just hold it until seeing price $5,000>$10,000.

How do you determine when to let it go?

It depends on your bankroll and the goal percentage on your mind. Usually on cryptoworld yoiu can possibly get 100% in a day depending on a certain coins would pump when you last bought but just remember the risk of price volatility which it can cause for us to lose up money. There are lots of coins in the market just carefully choose up the potential ones. Gaining on small percentage by doing short/day trading is also good.

I have a 2 strategy in trading the one is holding leading altcoins.
the the second is rolling and when I have a some profits 10% or more I well sell it quickly and when I have enough funds or profit in my short-term trading I will buy again leading altcoins to hold hope this little strategy help you

I sell at regular intervals whenever I get btc and keep in mind x% of profit. Whenever it reaches that I sell of majority of it and keep small as a future investment. Rest all are sold immediately considering the btc price volatility and its future in respective country.

So for anyone to know when is the right time to sell or when to trade is when they learn to monitor the price of bitcoin ans when they know to manage bitcoin through percentage following the principle and the development of bitcoin price.
