Hi guys, I am new with trading. I just have a question, do you guys consider a time frame? Or regardless how long will it be as long as you can't see any profit, you will not sell your altcoins? Do you have like "favorite altcoins" where you just focus on those because of good history graph?

this world is not let you make day trading. thats why hodl is the best for cryptoworld. i don't sell my bitcoins and altcoins. i will keep them when it hit to my target.
Yeah I will agree with you. While trading there no chance of being panic of some kind or news or some little loss. There is always a rise after every fall. Just keep investing. And holding when you thinks is not the right time will be a very sensitive move. This is what traders do. And most important thing is believe just believe that after falling it will rise with many time more profit.

That’s okay if you are new to trading but why are you after altcoins when bitcoins are at peak of their values. I don’t have any favorite altcoin at all. I don’t think so they have enough potential of making their investors rich. Time frame matters when you are doing short term trading. But if planning to have huge profit, then time frame does not matter.

The sell option is good when profit is about 30% above from your initial investment when the profit ratio is mor then 20% then you think about for sale .please avoid to purchase in hight price rate when market is hight .
30% profit is not too much? my take profit limit is maximum 10%. and i never look turn back when i sold my coins.

Thanks for the input about this. Good example is today, I am trading using Poloniex and all altcoins are too high. Isn't a good time to trade now and wait all of those altcoins to drop and becomes red again? I'm still in the phase of "playing" the trading strategy, and planning to trade huge amount once I am already very familiar on how trading works.

When do you decide to sell?
Is it a sat, a % of profit, or even a randomly thought up number in your head?
I am new to trading Crypto, but when I traded other stocks, I would aim for a certain percentage. This seems much easier to hit that percentage, but much more risky.
How do you determine when to let it go?
Probably when you have gained money on it already you're going to sell those profit you get and leave your capital. Or you can even take a percentage like 20% of your profit will be sold and the rest are still on your wallets. It just upon you when to decide to sell those coins. Me myself I probably sell coins when I needed to, when the pricing rate is high because that's a lot of money.

It depends sir. There are many traders are selling their cryptocurrency at 20-30%, and that is the minimum pump of a coin. There some traders also, mostly professional trader are not selling their on percentage profit because there is a go signal when to sell by watching candle sticks, watch the price and etc.

My strategy is to sell whenever it reach my target profit which is usually 2 - 3% of the total amount I traded for that certain pair. I usually do day trading and concentrate on one pair at a time because if ever the price goes down then I would have to average down and lower down the target price which is usually reach for that day. If ever it will not reach the price then I would have to wait for tomorrow and then average down again until such time it will reach the target price.

But just in case, maybe the end of the year is a great opportunity to sell bitcoin. Well, at that time I'm sure bitcoin prices will surely go up high. But if you have other plans, I do not think it's a problem to sell them at the moment.

Yes if you have bought your bitcoins at lower price in the past then there is nothing wrong in selling them at a moment as this price can be treated as an good price to make good profits but if you are expecting even higher profits then better to wait till the end of the year.

Though there are many speculations that are happening right now but despite the situation I will still keep going on. It won't change the fact that bitcoin has many high and low of increasing its price. As much as possible I will take the risk.

Prices do really move on both ways either up or down but eventually it end up on rising its price in longer runs which somehow we can assure that we can really make money if we tend to hold up bitcoins for long terms. As a trader or investor the time we do sell is when we do already see that we are already on profits and theres no dumb person would sell on lose unless if you are panic selling you will surely sell your bitcoins on cheaper prices.

Sometimes too early, sometimes too late... but that is all part of the learning experience. But mostly for me its the amount of profit I'm getting. I personally very rarely do the calculations and figure out all the percentages, mostly its just straight forward for me, I bought it at 10, its 15 now, looks good probably will not go much high(although I am mostly wrong), sell.
I agree with you that wrong decisions are the part of learning trading. Your strategy is not bad. It’s wise to sell bitcoins when they have reached your expected and desired values. Too much greed can make you a loser. Sometimes it’s good to take experts’ advice. A advantage comes from the things we do with our hard work, and if we don't have the level of hard work is good then already ascertained the advantages will not or rarely we get. because it is a hard work, would help us in understanding something and our obligation to also do the self control or everything will fall apart. So if we want to benefit, then the multiply experience and hard work. Because the only thing that can give us a favorable thing

In bitcoin,i do investment in a long term basis and so i don't bother about shot term fluctuations. For investing in altcoins,i set a profit margin of 5% or 10% and as soon as i reach that target,i just sell my coins and invest in another coin.

Im usually waiting, before i started trading im running a mining rig so the value dont matter to me that much, But also try to choose on what coins your going to invest. Trading is like buy and sell, Since i have my own mining rig, Im just waiting for my coins value to rise up while your'e earning your'e passive income. Maybe my way is slow but im trying not to lose much money. So the secret is waiting and good analyzation before starting.

Selling should be as higher as you can but you have to make it sure during pumping, so you will know the movement and you know when to exit. It is better not too greedy, exit at some point at least 10%-20% and cooling down.

It is actually better to know your own target and objective, why do you want to buy such coin? is it for investment and long term? so HODL is the best, probably do not sell it. Keep it as investment and later you can sell it (after a very long time).

I even prefer gain of just 1% ten times in a single day or two than one time 10% gain because the latter is quite hard and sometimes long to achieve versus the former. The former is good for short term or day trade style of trading.
