How are things going with the sale of the house you recently renovated? I hope it all went well and that soon you'll be back here working on VGS again. Lets start the new year with a bang with VGS! I know this is a long term project but so in 2018 we haven't really seen much happening here so I hope this all changes in 2019.

We haven't seen vegasguy for over 2 months now. He mentioned that he was getting a house ready for sale so I'm just wondering if he was able to sell it and then come back to working on VGS again. Like I have always said here, VGS has potential but I think it needs a dev working on it more often then what we have now. 2018 was a bad year for crypto as a whole so I can understand some devs taking a break from it all but hopefully this year will be much better.

I think its because nothing is happening with the project and that there was no developments in 2018, we have been waiting on a new website for a long time now but still we are waiting. We really need the dev to be more active and get developments rolling again and then we could see the volume increase and maybe even the price. Hopefully we hear from the dev soon as now is a good time to get VGS moving again now that we started a new year.

We have been very patient waiting for you and I think this year is the year we start to see VGS doing something. Last we heard you were looking to add casino blocks with super rewards, is this still on the table or has been scrapped? Please come back soon as crypto is starting to gain some momentum now.

Like many altcoins, looks like abandoned from the dev. I hope we will see vegasguy soon. My wallet still working, but there is no meaningful value.

First, I wont abandon the project. What I told you was very true. I had enormous work to do on a house. Its now listed for sale. I also needed a long break from crypto , as I had spent hours and hours EVERY DAY working on this project. No one knows the enormous pressure that the OP is under. To be very honest , I felt the full weight and pressure of this project. I think the only way to move forward is to get really honest about the challenges I faced, so we can do something different this time around.

#1 : The biggest challenge by far is finding an HONEST dev that does not want to charge thousands of dollars for each update. This has been an ongoing problem since I got into crypto. At first when Crypto was on a high , I spent easily $10,000 for development, and we were just getting started. Finding the "perfect dev" proved near impossible. problems were either:

1. Far too expensive.
2. Incompetent, and would damage the code.
3. Make promises to begin work, and I would not be able to contact them.

Problem #2 :

More expenses on me.

Everyone wanted to get listed on this or that exchange, but the problem is at the time the going rate was 1 btc, and back then was about $8,000. Is it my sole responsibility to spend $8,000 to get listed on EACH exchange?

Listing on Masternodes sites, like masternodes.online. The Average cost was $2500 . Again, more expenses on me.

Block Explorer expenses.

Graphic art expenses.

and much much more...

In the end, I had the enormous pressure to "get people rich quick" , and all the massive expenses to go along with it.

I badly badly want to continue this project , but to begin we need a talented dev that will either volunteer his time at first, then when the price and volume rise, I can pay him VGS out of the community wallet.  

In the end , I LOVE being the OP and leader of VGS, but without the support of the community , it WILL fail. I CANNOT do it all.

I have so many fantastic ideas for Las Vegas coin, we just need a dev that can volunteer their time until things get moving.

I am open to suggestions. Please be respectful and kind.

Here we need just one more exchange, then we can expect for VGS to be listed on CMC. They ask from coin to be listed on a minimum two exchanges. It can be a good move.
We need the strongest community, maybe then is possible to have some donations from the community to collect some funds for expenses and future development.
Also if you have ideas maybe you're sharing them here and we can discuss.

Its good to see you here vegasguy, now that we understand what you have been trying to achieve, the community can try and help you out. I'll have a talk to a few people that I know that might be able to help with a dev however I'm just not sure they would want to be paid in VGS coins but there is no harm in asking. Yes exchanges were and still are expensive however there have been a few exchanges pop up recently where the listing fee is a lot cheaper and some even have free listings but the community must vote. If the whole VGS community can get together I think we can achieve great success here.

I agree with you mate. VGS is one of the most stable wallet which I use even if here not to much development in the last months.
@vegasguy if you already spent $10k that's just the one more reason you do not get out from vegascoin.

Im not out, but we do need to discuss what we can do to make Las Vegas coin more successful. Im willing to make ANY changes we need. Are there any talented devs out there that would volunteer some time to make some wallet changes to get things moving again. I think what Im saying is that while I was here every day and working hard, and pouring thousands of dollars into this project, there was little volume. What do we need to do to get consistent volume? What are other very successful coins doing? Lets talk. Lets toss around ideas. Please keep in mind, we DO have the community wallet that has been untouched, and its massive. If we can get some movement, we can use it to fund MANY different way to get VGS moving. The good news is the technical aspect of Las Vegas coin is a success. The technical side is finished. Still need to get a dev to add jackblocks, but what else?
