I usually use a fee of approximately 0.0005 (or 50k satoshis). It only costs 1$ and gets confirmed in a couple of hours or even sooner. I don't usually move my money around a lot so for me the high fees don't really affect me that much.

I alternate between low and average transaction costs this depends on the urgency of the transaction.
I would also like to add that if you always use low cost it can take weeks to arrive.

Yes i still use low fees because i have no choice. The lowest rate of my low fee is 0.002 BTC even if i am sending 0.002 the fee is 0.002 but i don't send if i will be sending only 0.002 so i wait for a large amount of trade before sending Bitcoin because 0.002 as a low fee is already hurting me. I do wonder why fees keeps going up. I am having a hard time to run my online shop with that amount of fee.

If the fees are hurting your deposits and withdraws then you should really rethink your business model.
Right now if you have an online shop you're far better with somebody else managing the payments and transfers like bitpay.
But I somehow doubt you have all the paperwork in order or you would have already gone for this solution Wink))

I closed out one of my NiceHash bitcoin addresses and mined just a little over 0.01 BTC to trigger a payout, which took place yesterday as follows:

So now after ~ 30 hours, the transactions still hasn't been confirmed and I see this when I click on the TXID:

https://blockchain.info/en/tx/c90be391a3786c87eba349ecf532ac5be798143ebc8519b024ff41324edefa6b

So just wait a few more days I guess?

This is just pure greed.
Fee per byte   5.997 sat/B

Really? Probably they did it thinking that 4 days ago the mempool was empty but it is no longer the case.
So they took a 50850 fee from you and only paid 23124 for all the transactions?

Unfortunately nothing you can do but wait and hope some miner will have mercy.

I do not mind paying BTC 0001-0.002 when I need a quick transaction,
Let's look at this way: buy genuine or virtual goods and pay transaction fees that support bitcoin economy.

For me those fees not matter because i want to support bitcoin and also developers. When i want fast transaction i'm agreeing on expencive fees cause i have no time for queue.

Sometimes when I withdraw BTC to my wallet, I set really low fees like 50-70 satoshi per byte and wait for weeks, because I'm not going to spend those coins in the near future anyway. I think it's a good way to save a bit of money, because if you look back, you might realize that your fees have added up to a big amount in USD value, while it wasn't always necessary to get those coins confirmed asap.
So, do you use low fees, or always want to get confirmation in a next few blocks?

I don't usually do this because when I sell my bitcoins, I always compute the transaction fees within it even if the price is ridiculously high. The only time I sell bitcoins is the time when I really need the money and time most so selling it with a high amount of dollar per byte is fine with me.

In my opinion, Electrum Wallet will adjust the cost so that the transaction can be faster. I have never tried it at all since I first made a payment from a signature campaign.

when I deposit a bitcoin at low fee, it is very expensive because of the fees they charge rather than your bitcoin deposit. so it's okay sometimes that you have to wait for a low fee.

It depends. At beginning I used automatic fees in electrum wallet, now I adjust them per need. If Im buying something and buyer cant wait/ I need it quickly , then I go for high fees and quick confirmation. If Im withdrawing and planning to hodl then low fees all the way.

Indeed using low fee will get slow confirmation but it's not will take too long. I also using low fee to save bit of my money i'm ok with that the most important the transaction will be confirmed.

Fees are much lower than what we got used to and I think if current fees are maintained I honestly don't see or find a reason for other merchants new to the use of crypto will not use these digital currencies and I can say am enjoying the fees now, if they can go lower that would be fantastic.

everybody wants a low fee for each transaction, even for rich people who have lots of bitcoin pun it is necessary. Unfortunately there is no free fee from coinbase, I used to use coinbase for transactions but now no, even now the fee is quite big compared to other bitcoin wallet, so I menyimpanya in poloniex, in addition to its trading fee is quite small
Coinbase doesn't charge any fee right so long you're using their wallet and the recipient is also using coinbase? or my info. was wrong? My clients recommended to me to create a coinbase account since they make them free from fees.

just use the standard cost and no longer need to write more numbers because everything is processed well, the problem sooner or later depending on our needs only. I have never experienced a long delay even more than three days, it just depends on the conditions of the current mempool.
