Wow making predictions for 5 years a head is really hard mate. We can't even be sure if most of today's coins will still be around. Ethereum is a little different then other alt coins. It will surely have nice place among other in the future as well but in 5 years time we will probably see a lot of competitors for ethereum and some of them may decrease popularity of ethereum. It is really hard to figure out from now.

Well Ethereum had reached over 0.09 BTC when Bitcoin was at around 3000$, and since Bitcoin also will keep on rising the coming five years, I don't think Ethereum will surpass 0.10 BTC value. So it will keep on goin up in dollar value but in BTC it won't pass 0.10 BTC value, especially now that bitcoin has taken off.

ETH is approaching very fast to $1000 and now I see it happening before DEC 31. If money continues to flow into ETH I think we could se $1500 by the end of January.

Reading this positive feedbacks for Etherium makes me jealous  I met ETH when it was $10 wayback but got discouraged when ETH was hacked and continuously ignoring since then. And now wooow! Only big regret I have the feelings right now Should I buy or keep ignoring it again?!?  |

In 5 years eth can be the first crypto or it can dont exist at all. No one know what will be tomorrow. Satoshi may move their btc and dump them all.

Hard to tell if any better technology platforms will come that could overtake Ethereum in 5 years.
In the next year or two, it should go to many thousands.

I think ethereum will be worth around 5000$ in 2022. Ethereum is rising hundred times this year in usd, from around 8$ in january to 800$ in december and still moving forward.
