Eth is a good and promising coin no doubt about it. I think everyone will agree with me about this. I can tell you a prediction that, eth will reach $10k within next 5 years it's my opinion actually. So if eth will hit at $10k then nothing will be surprising at all.

ETH is also affected by the bad news in the market now. However, I always believe in this coin. it was created from a successful ICO which provides a perfect platform (ERC20) for the development of new ICO projects.

the influence of the bad news has no effect on eth alone, but other coin-coin is also influenced too. making coin-coin prices now declining.

This time the market capitalization of ethereum worth more than 60 percent of bitcoin. That means we need 80% increase to the price of ethereum token to surpass the bitcoin. That looks possible. Because the further update still doesn't implement and there is a lot of room to growth for ethereum platform. Ethereum roadmap 2.0 becomes the bitcoin killer.

It is possible that Ethereum will achieve 10x from now in 5 years time, however, that is heavily dependent on how regulatory policies turn out to be. If and when the regulation happens, whether or not Ethereum will be considered as securities is still a matter that is not known yet.

Even if mining doesn't exist today the gaming industry is becoming huge in the past decade so i don't think sales of nvidia or other GPUs will get hurt when there is a sudden drop to mining activities all over the world, it can easily compensated by the demand coming from the gamers.

I estimate the eth price in 2022 will rise in the range of $ 3000- $ 5000 but depending on the bitcoin price, if the bitcoin price reaches $ 50000, this is my analysis.

2022 eth... i can see it being anywhere from 1500-2500, i do feel there are some big companies banking on ETH so , they wont let it dip too far i feel.

I think that this year it will continue growing because every new user investing in cryptocurrencies invests in ETH after knowing about it. I think that in mid 2019 Ethereum will be surpassed by other platforms and its price will start falling.

Naaa... the market doesn't work that way. Even if there is a better version of Ethereum (via ethereum), or a different blockchain product, it's not just possible yet. Vitalik has prospective plans for Ethereum which includes 2.0 and 3.0 versions. The former is for the initial scalability issues, of which the effects will soon be initiated. And the later for "unlimited" scalability release expected by the end of 2018. So expect such a coin which has traveled to the future exists to bring up a plan now on how it will overtake Ethereum, I don't see Ethereum dropping to as low as $0.05 ceteris paribus.

To be honest, I can hardly predict the price of any coin after 1 year. 5 years is too long for analysis in the crypto.
