I have transferred HEAT from my C-Cex account to my HEAT web wallet, it is now shown on the wallet balance, however the 'effective balance' on the wallet is zero, how long does it normally take to have an effective balance ? it seems that I am unable to transfer the HEAT out of the wallet as the effective balance is zero.

That is correct, for the coins to mature it takes 1440 conformations or blocks.

As far as I know the effective balance is NOT related to the possibility of actually using the balance (for transfer, exchange, messaging, etc.). The effective balance is only to show what balance is considered to be valid as "stake" in case you are forging. And indeed, for your heat to become active for forging, 1440 blocks need to be passed for your heat to become active. This is also valid for freshly forged heat. Any transaction outside (withdrawal for example) is immediately withdrawn from your effective balance.

So NO, effective balance has nothing to do with trading/transferring HEAT. If that would be the case, then nobody who is leasing out HEAT could trade...

Thanks for the specification. I partially read the original question so my answer was incomplete. The 1440 confirmations only act as a factor in effective balance.

Whats wrong with wallet? I use it mining, deposit and withdrawing.
My opinion it isnt hard to use and im total idiot with computers.

Issues don't get fixed by thinking of them.

HEAT-SDK has had it 19th version update, version 0.10.0 of heat-sdk has been published tonight.

The main addition for 0.10.0 is browser and nodejs support for the new AVRO based Remote Procedure Call mechanism which in turn is how your browser/mobile/node app talks to the high speed transaction relay in HEAT server.

Quite technical but it comes down to a highly efficient method of sending data between HEAT server and your browser/mobile/node app.
Not alone is the data transfer much faster, the data is also optimized for consumption on the server allowing for much greater through put.

The benchmark competition is shaping up and this latest heat-sdk release plays a major role both in the browser and on the server.

Not used as such yet but still important;
- a major building block of microservices is the storage and communication of all sorts of structured data over the blockchain.
- this data needs to be flexible (you have to be able to change the structure, without breaking all microservices) and as dense (small in size) as possible.
- you need to 'work' with this data; 1. in your microservice itself, 2. from your browser/mobile client app, 3. from your business logic/server app.
