orphans are normal at this state i believe.. because the chances of more than one person solving a block.. i think..  i'm no expert

i can't seem to use the windows client as a server.. i am unable to point my laptop to it..

i have tried everything.. i have used the -server switch.. set user/pass rcp allow, correct port.. both windows machine on private network.. grrrr.. i don't know why i am so angry when this coin as an obvious scam lol

trying a port scan now ://

I'm a lil off but hey, why not install a live usb of ubuntu on a flash disk with a persistance file to save yo wallet on? after going through hell with feather coin and litecoin i ended up making one, it works and i havent had issues since.

CPU-like version of NovaCoin... I like this. If difficulty will grow slowly, there will be 500-600k coins at the end of this month.

Well, i don't know what is happening on my side, but i am sick of the sync. From the start my wallet is always syncing. I don't know if the mining has worked, or if i got anything, always syncing. Now again 2010 blocks remaining

yacoin-qt -gen -addnode=82.211.30.212 -addnode=78.21.9.49 -addnode=81.202.104.33 -addnode=5.9.86.98 -addnode=27.19.201.168 -addnode=13.28.12.51 -addnode=176.9.41.201 -addnode=78.144.250.125

can someone please do a step by step guide how to start mining this ?
thanks

add this also after -gen -genproclimit=1
set to how many threads, maybe 4 or 8
then itll b mining
check the console through help and u can type gethashespersec to see the hash speed or getinfo getmininginfo etc

thanks man, i tried it and its working 2 transaction so far, sadly both not accepted, but is fun anyway.

can you put 8 threads for quad core hyperthreading?
thanks

Client is not connecting because it need NO NATTED Network, i putted on server where is static ip and it connect a node, on my home where i have better cpu i was unable to connect.

So ppl who was not able connect need to forward a port or get a non NATted internet. its very sorry to see this.

Well.. I'm gonna dump this coin because of this. What a fail this was.

There have been 9000 blocks mined already, at 80 coins per block thats 720K mined already in the last few hours.
Grow slowly? hahaha! Slowly until someone modifies a GPU miner and rapes the blockchain.

EDIT: 780k mined. Also how many total are there going to be
