can someone explain to me how to build this on linux like im a 5 year old with down's?

i have the files from github. now what?

EDIT:

Code:
qmake "RELEASE=1"

gives me

Code:
qmake: could not find a Qt installation of ' '

it takes hours to build dependencies, even if you knew how.

Thanks for the very informative response! NOT! I call TROLLERY!

so many people dont even start to mine since it have problems, dev is raping it and give a shit about that, so it is not premined, but actually it is in front of our noses

Of course the developer is mining his own coin, wouldnt you? Its released you know....

Mining works fine me.

Got 4 valid blocks out of 11 in the last 30min

Got a quad core running on full throttle for an hour... nada!   So is this supposed to be a brand new coin???

It is. But since all other coins are GPU to some degree there were surely lots of spare CPU resources.

can someone explain to me how to build this on linux like im a 5 year old with down's?

i have the files from github. now what?

Go to the folder with the unzipped contents. Run:

qmake yacoin-qt.pro

Then:

make

Then the command line in the first post of the thread.

If make fails it'll throw some errors about .so files or so missing. For installing a missing dependency you can always do "apt-cache search libsomething" (for Debian/Ubuntu), then "sudo apt-get install libsomethingsomething-dev".
Not working on osx.. Something with salsa8 error..
