What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ? I cannot answer rightly but all of us here are free to share our thoughts about it. I don't think cryptocurrency has a capability to do it but with bitcoin it can be possibilble. That's was my view on it I agree on you. I never see cryptocurrency over the real money. It wont be happen because even its consider as a money this cant change the fact that real money is accepted anywhere unlike cryptocurrency. But I believe that cryptocurrency can help us to save more real money.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ? I do not think that cryptocurrency is a substitute for conventional money, that would not happen. The cryptocurrency supply is always limited, if the supply is missing, what will happen? Its value is unstable, risky to invest and depends on internet. Is this a good solution to replace?

Crypto currency can can overpower real money The times changing I don't think that the new generation would continue to use physical currency ,we can see a big change in this decade that came by People are now more into online shopping than actually going to a shop and buying things , everything is there on internet , people even buy groceries now We can have almost buy anything by sitting inside our house and they would deliver Crypto currency are not being accepted everywhere now, but they will be surely accept by everyone in future People are moving more into digital currencies now The world would start using crypto currency as soon as they came to know about the advantages of using them

I cant imagine a world with only cryptocurrency, real money is more convenient compared to cryptocurrency, and not every one is capable of using cryptocurrency, technology really makes human less industrious.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ? I think chances are more for such things because to avoid the world from the black money we need to make every transaction in online so that no one can hide his money in offline ( black money ) and in this way they can easily handle Thier money also . So in.the future the trend of the online money increasing but I am not sure whether we will came across the same type of the world as we are here , because it may be possible that few country ban the Bitcoin like cryptocurrency and only allow the governmented allowed online money . Since if one can access internet then he can access the cryptocurrency also , so in the future with the cryptocurrency we will have more ease to handle our money and in that time we don't much need for the actual cash , because we will feel the more safety in the cryptocurrency instead of actual fiat in hand .

Same here, real money were much in need in any country no matter how advanced the technology in other countries they still make it to a point to reproduce money since its much easier to transact for instant payment.

Cryptocurrency will not make real money disappear, because we are in real life and not digital life. Crypto makes it easy for many people from all the conveniences that already exist. Bitcoin was created to make it easier to transact and even invest.
Now bitcoin has no direct impact on the real currency, but if bitcoin continues to grow over time, then bitcoin will dominate the market and create less fiat effects or even become inflation. The government needs to review the bitcoin regulations because significant price movements indicate that bitcoin has a class that has unparalleled potential. I don’t agree with this because bitcoin don’t have the capacity to fulfil the need of such a huge number of users with a few million Bitcoins. Neither can the alts being a part can do it. The crypto currency is a real sophisticated and everywhere in the world these sophistications cannot be followed. So this is the reason which makes the fiat more real in the market to be float than the cryptocurrency.

It is very simple to explain all this in a country where each government provides a means of payment or means of transactions using real money it is to facilitate its people to exchange transactions either to exchange goods or basic needs by using a real money exchange instrument. Over time due to the development of the modern era then many governments issued an alternative way to transact either using an ATM card or credit card so it is easier for people without having to bring a lot of money in his pocket, Especially from all that now emerging digital currency much more easy but its use must be connected with internet hence various transaction can be done but government can not formalize this digital currency. Then the real money if it does not exist in our lives then the transaction will be difficult if only rely on this digital currency that can not be inaugurated by some countries.

I think it never can be true If we will have a cryptocurrency that has an unlimited supply like the money that we have right now then it will be very easy for the cryptocurrency too replace the real money as of now because people loved being convenient so it will be an easy replacement for the real money and soon it will become the most used in the world.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ? Crypto-currencies cannot replace fiat money, cause fiat money is generally accepted by a country's citizens and the banks also will not permit crypto-currencies to take a full charge over fiat money but rather they both can work hand-in-hand within a country's economic system.

The scaling problem itself is a clear sign that cryptocurrency which uses blockchain isn't capable of becoming a money which widely used by all people around this world and there's also many problems which may occur. In the future maybe there'll be developed some sort of technology to replace the fiat/cash but I'm pretty sure that it's not bitcoin. Just basically bitcoin but more advanced supposedly.

I myself like other members don't see a possibility of cryptocurrency making real money disappear anytime in the near future. There are still millions of people who don't even know what cryptocurrency is and even if they do, they don't feel at ease with it, they don't find it convenient to use. They still prefer something tangible to intangible one and that's why they stick to their conventional fiat currencies. Even the governments would never like anything on which they don't have complete control.

Ohhh this is a huge claim that can never happen in practical manner. The money does not need to disappear. They can be operated in harmony with bitcoin.
Real money is controlled by the government and the government will always maintain real money at any time. I know many users who want bitcoin can be legalized and become the main currency. But that is impossible The government will never legalize cryptocurrecy they will use local currency as the main currency

Yes and yes. Even though BTC has been announced world wide, there are still few who doesn't know this cryptocurrency. And by convenient, you mean BTC has still some issues when it comes to waiting confirmations and transaction fees, but hey atleast everyone can use it. It is really impossible for BTC to replace fiat, I mean what could be the author thinking, that he wanted the government to take control of all the cryptocurrencies(since all Altcoins are based on BTC)?

So governments won't support the elimination of currency from usage and legalize bitcoin to be the only currency. In my view in the future Countries legalize bitcoin and give the usage access same as the fiat. So bitcoin will always serve as a alternate for the traditional currency system, going mainstream is hard.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ? Impossible, just look around, even if the dollar is incredible powerful it has not come to become the sole currency of the world, or look at bitcoin, bitcoin is not the only cryptocurrency in the world, there are many coins trying to usurp the first spot that bitcoin holds, so there is always going to be money issued by governments.

Seems pretty impossible though making fiat no being used. It is still considered money even if it's in card form or if you are using modern technology to pay for something. What you might be thinking is a cashless society where no one needs to bring paper money and every transaction would be done digitally, be it online or offline. That day might not come soon enough as paper money is being produced more today.
