Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ?

Bitcoin provides a good income because of its high value, and because of this, it is supported by millions of people worldwide and seem to be unstoppable due to this. But as a quote says, "nothing is impossible", it is possible that the bitcoin will lose its value if something unexpectable happen to lose its value. It is not certain something like this happens but it can actually happen because there's always possibility for every situation to take place

I can say bitcoin will not lose it's value. The bitcoin will never be down again like when the bitcoin is still in the first stage. The bitcoin is increasing it's value than before. So I can say that it is very impossible of if the value of the bitcoin lose.

It is true bitcoin will never lose it's value because bitcoin goes to establishment and its price goes to upward. I think bitcoin currency will live forever and no more currency defeat bitcoin.

What you say is far from reality, please don't be so optimist. If it's like that bitcoin will rise forever, than what about if all will sell house and buy btc? If it's like guaranteed than everyone will do. Bitcoin is just "good" currency which can bring a good profit to traders who can be a little smart and lucky in trading. As I understand bitcoin falls and then rises but that fall is what makes us afraid a lot.

I think everything can happen, decentralization depends on the user, when all users sell bitcoin of course the value will drop soon and otherwise if all hold then the price will continue to rise.

It won't happen. Bitcoin might get lower in value but will never lose. Since it is becoming popular, its demand is going up and people around the globe supports it. Its value gets more higher and higher as years passes by thats why more people invests on it hoping that bitcoin can give them good fortune.

It's possible but to fall like 5-6 years ago it had a small chance, let alone with very high reputation and bitcoin prices, down and rising the price of cryptocurrency it is a common thing to happen.

Yes I dont think bitcoin will lose its value as these days after this aug1 drama bitcoin still keep on track of its value. I think btc will lose value if no one will use it but today btc is keep on growing daily.

Downfall meaning bitcoin will be bankrupt or will be gone or something like that? I am certain that bitcoin will stay for a long time maybe forever, but this coming days because of the split, it is possible that bitcoin will lose some of it value but for sure, in the next weeks bitcoin will go surging up high!

What really affects the value of bitcoin and determins whether it rises or falls is the community behind Bitcoin. If people start abandoning bitcoin and no longer believing in Bitcoin, the prices will fall. This is why Fud is so important to bitcoin, since it can sway a lot of people to sell and the price will therefore fall and the snowball effect will make it fall even more.

Don't think that will be happening anytime soon though since August the first didn't affect us anyway and that was a huge event.

Bitcoin could only lose its value when there is no one ready to buy bitcoins.But today we could see that bitcoin is going to be legalized in most countries.Mass adoption of bitcoin is taking place.More companies are coming forward to accept bitcoin payments.In such a situation,its hard for bitcoin to lose its value.

That’s true. It is almost next to impossible that bitcoins will lose their value forever. They can decrease in value over a time but as usually will recover it. Fluctuations are mandatory for making crypto market interesting and mysterious. Bitcoins are the rulers of crypto world. I don’t think so there is any other currency that can wipe out from this planet.

yes that is possible, but i think still there is no such  altcoin which can compete with bitcoin, and therefore i think bitcoin will remain as number one currency of the world for a long time and there is no threat to bitcoin.

The value of bitcoins just like any other currency has been going on and up all the time, the difference between fiat currency and cryptocurrencies is that the fiat currency value refelcts on the economy of the respective countries whiles cryptocurrencies such as bitcoins value fall and rises based on its investors fears or hopes.

Of course Bitcoin can take a downward plunge like any other asset thrown to the market. This is determined by the forces of demand and supply. It isn't the pseudo TheBillioncoin which is hyped to grow three percent on daily basis without ever fluctuating. What asset acts that way if it isn't a scam?

Obviously, It can lose its value it's not volatile we cannot predict the value of Bitcoin.
The price can go down below $2000 in the coming month but we cannot predict it may go up but who knows?

It is not possible. We all know that bitcoin cannot keep its value constant, because it is in demand. The demand is increasing day by day so is the price. It is not that the price increases or decreases without a reason. When a lot of bitcoins are sold together, the price gets lower, and when a lot of bitcoins are bought together, the price increases. It keeps going like that, and the process is continuous so i don't think we can see a constant value of bitcoin as long as it is in use.
