One fuction I would really love to see in the future ( and would pay for ! ) is support of the altcoins on BTC-e. So much volatility... Imagine the bot detecting a pump, and exploiting it. wow.

I installed the bot and I'm now deciding on the best settings. When I feel satisfied it's running OK i'll give it acces to all my BTC and post an in-dept review.

   Alt Coin trading is something that if all goes well we will implement in a future release. Right now we are focusing on V2 which will be a full, from the ground up, rewrite of B-Bot to be able to support these new features in future releases, as well as some great surprises which will be announced in the coming weeks .

   We are working on a new payment structure, so this isn't a complete answer, but for the next generation it should be about 15 USD. For V3 there will likely be a different payment structure so I can't fully answer the question. It will never be unreasonable, always optional, and the added features of each new generation will be significant.

  Yes there are, but those are not immediate plans. Chrome allows the extension to be portable into various operating systems without the need for any reworking of the code and also provides a stable platform. We are currently working on rewriting the bot from scratch and adding new features, making the bot standalone will not be in immediate development until the features we plan to add make that a technical requirement.

Which seems like a really random time when you look at the chart. I have the settings like in the email : with the 30 minute window and tight thresholds.

  I think I tracked down the issue. There would have been no trade at that time if the BTC had already been in your account, but the bot works like this:

1. Depending on its market analysis, the bot issues either a "buy" or a "sell" command, which it holds until the market shifts.
2. What likely happened, is that at 9:07 your new BTC arrived at MT.Gox (6 verifications completed) and the bot which has been holding a "sell" command since early in yesterday's crash, liquidated your new BTC into USD.

In the upcoming release you will be able to specify a BTC reserve so that bot only trades with a certain amount of funds.

We are estimating 4 weeks for release of V2, plus or minus a bit. We are adding some cool and complex features that will make this a worthwhile wait. We will be releasing some beta versions for customer testing at some point before V2 is fully released. I will make a post about this at that time, anyone who wishes can sign up for an early peek.
