wtf why you added this scamcoin ripple? At least remove 80% of its total supply when calculating market cap because half of the coins are premined all the ripple coins are premined and 80% of them are held in the hands of ripple's scam cartel. For this to be fair you must change the total supply of bitcoins to 21 000 000!!!

edit:
Please consider taking a look at this list when adding coins to your site. If you added ripple you can as well add these:

NOT BTC ALTERNATIVE /  NEVER FULLY LAUNCHED:
(do not have bitcoin characteristics )

-MSC mastercoin- Not launchet yet, but you can buy them already. coins created by buying them with bitcoins. operates on a bitcoin blockchain.
eCash historical try for digital curency by David Chaum, operational but died. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DigiCash
DigiCash was the company that made eCash . Possibly where Bitcoin came from.
Ripples XRP-  , no mining - all coins available at start 80% foundation, and 20% develeopers. centralized, not opensource. not designed to be a currency, but an IOU exchange. Very innovative and usefull, but "not an altcoin"
Amazon Coin - centralized private scrip launched by Amazon and pegged to USD, not cryptographic at all, just a name.
WEEDS never realy active and now dead
Groupcoin - still alive but never realy active
Opencoin - opensource version of digicash, opencoin.org , not launched yet
RealPay  100% coins at start, centralized, never realy launched ,site is dead
Qubic coins are produced at the rate determined by quorum of miners, not set by developers. Never launched.
Swiftcoin company operated, centralized and pegged, not opensource http://www.firstnationalbnak.com/faq
SMC smallchange functioning blockchain, but made just for research. might be a coin if reset.
-barcoin-functioning blockchain, but made just for research.

Or make another category for scamcoins on your market cap page, just don't put these beside truly original coins.

I've had a few requests to add Ripple.  The difference between Ripple and the other coins you listed is that XRP is actually being traded for BTC daily with quite a lot of volume (http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/currency/XRP.html).  If you can figure out a better way to calculate market cap, I'm open for suggestions.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not hostile towards you, I actually like your site very much and this is the reason I bothered to give you some constructive feedback on your latest decisions.

To me the first thing that came to my mind is that "did ripple bribe you for adding them in a way that they are on 2ND PLACE ON YOUR CHART?"

So what if ripple announced that they actually have total supply of 100,000,000,000,000 XRP? Then we would have a leading market-cap crypto currency over night?

I think you should make a sanity check or separate category for "premined" scamcoins.

The easiest algorithmic solution that comes to my mind is calculating the "market-cap" by multiplying last week's/month's volume and last price as we clearly see that total supply can give us ape shit. Bitcoin is just on its half way to meet the total supply while 80% of ripple's total supply is never traded and statically held by its founders. I think you get the point.

Hi, I have a couple of ideas:

1. link to each block explorer you use (gives them credit for their contributions by giving them publicity and traffic).

2. Provide information about ranking changes, e.g. litecoin "-1" since last week.  Similar to http://www.tiobe.com/index.php/content/paperinfo/tpci/index.html except the change since 1 year ago would be too long.

IFC is gone from the list! Maybe the IFC module crashed on the site because the gains are too good... hahaha

Or, maybe someone is trying to keep it a secret... Wink just kidding, just kidding.

Added 30 day and 90 long term charts!

Why we don't see Lebowskis in the list anymore, and today also IFC disappeared?

IFC block explorer was temporarily down, it's back up now.  Lebowskis block explorer is currently down.  Generally whenever you see a coin missing it's because the block explorer is down.

Remove Ripple. It really does not belong here and most agree it's a scammy coin.

Ripples XRP-  , no mining - all coins available at start 80% foundation, and 20% developers. centralized, not opensource. not designed to be a currency, but an IOU exchange. Very innovative and usefull, but "not an altcoin"

Can you add capitalization in btc equivalent?
Also seems you're using mtgox price, thats bad since no one seems can withdraw any fiat from mtgox so it's better to switch to more reliable price (e.q. volume weighed from popular exchanges like bitstamp btc-e etc)

I think like the others before said, XRP should be removed.
I don't think that a 100% Premining is innovative, Fiat money had done this for centuries.

It is not good to give XRP such an attention by listing them in second place.
