Do Altcoins really have a future?

Every coin has its own future, may it be positive or negative. And it is also a misconception to think and believe that there will only be a handful of coins in the future.
Altcoins wil find its way to survive, and coins to survive are those that have an actual utility in real life (not digital) and value. Accomplished development plan if you put it.

I think now only the athereum really has a future, just need to wait for the time to benefit from altcoin.

ETH is a good project but I don't think it will be the only one which will succeed.
There are a lot of project which are using ETH platform and they have real vision turning into real product
so I think they also have a chance to succeed, they are cheap right now but sooner the price will rise as the market grow.

As long as bitcoin has a future which I am sure it has, there is always a bright future for many different altcoins(Ethereum, Litecoin, DeepOnion etc). On the other hand, the shitcoins are simply useful short term holding and not good as long term investments

It is use for now, so it is also has a big chance that it can survive soon.  Bitcoin can exchange into real money that can use for some payment such as paying bills, etc.  If there has an altcoin that has better in bitcoin that can exchange into fiat and useful to the bitcoin world and also to the society.

am not really sure for that, if bitcoin use lighting network and be the payment of the world i think alt coin will die, but 10 rank in marketcap maybe stil life, i dont know just see in the next future

Majority of them will just exist in history and the early ones that devs experimented with until they discovered the best one. And that best altcoins will be part of our everyday lives in the futurewhen we make online transactions.

Evidences have showed that BTC itself is becoming popular among people and it carries a promising future in digital currency market. Blockchain technology is wonderful and cruptocurrency is part of it. Other altcoins will also grow over time. But one thing is that now cryptorurrencies are being used as something like gambling. It has not started its work. Hope it will start its work and is embraced by the world.

I actually feel that other coins may surpass Bitcoin. Many coins have lower to no fees, faster transaction times, and are better tailored to specific use cases.

Yes, some altcoins really have a future. For example, alts from top10 is really good projects which is used in real world by different companies, so i believe in it. Also it is some interesting alts from top 100 and alts from ICO which will be great in future.

In some cases, the coins that a specific company provides will be simply irreplaceable and will greatly help people in their activities. I think that every token will be much more important than Bitcoin.

Most likely majority of the altcoins won't survive since there soo many ico's that are been introduced on the market which some are definately scams.

Alt coins do have a future, this though depends on their projects and their usability. Most ICOs have come up with shallow structures and no clear cut intentions,such will have a hard time surviving in the competitive marked. but some such as Ripple, which continues to partner with giant companies will survive.

People are looking for a better altcoin than bitcoin as we are experiencing higher fees with bitcoin.
Altcoins do have a future and as there are companies that are trying to promote their services with those coins and supports it with their capital.
As long as it is getting a good and realistic market cap, that coin has a future.

It's not really right to say that Altcoins don't have a future. Come to think of it, as bitcoin grows more popular the Altcoin could get that chance as well. Some people might get tired of investing on Bitcoin or some just want other than it, that's how they will end up investing on Altcoins. That's why we shouldn't easily give up on Altcoins.
