Setting some boundaries for himself (considering his friend is a male) will certainly help him but if he is already addicted, it would be a little troublesome. It sounds easy but in reality, it takes a lot of guts to give up on your habits, especially when that thing keeps on running on your mind 24 by 7.

i think to have limit in trading and gambling is too much important. because if we do not have any limit then there are more chance that we will lose our whole money in gambling or trading, we need to play with limits and must have some good trading or gambling strategy so that we can manage our money in a good way and can also protect ourselves from big lost.

drugs are a chemical addiction while gambling itself aren't. pretty different but yes it is same when comes to leaving from it , your head will full of something good lured you as always to keep repeating the same mistakes. not a good thing at all indeed.

That could good be a great idea but I think it is really depending on the decision of the gambler, if he is not honest to himself, he will make things possible and he will still gamble even beyond the limit. Well the side effects of gambling are way beyond our imagination. It actually does not effects mentally and physically the addicted person but also to all others who are with him/her. They cannot see them like this the way addicted person behaves. They have sleepless night due to such a huge change in their behavior. This effects everybody surrounded by them .

I limit my self when gambling. It's really hard to gamble with all of your money. I don't really take gambling seriously, I usually just gamble to play with my friends and to have fun. I think that gambling is made for entertainment, and it's stressful if you gamble and just think of the money.

Which makes stress is when gambling and we lose all the money that is owned, regardless of us gamble with whom good friends, other people and gambling online. Because stress is related to what we miss

It's not safe to always think about the money because it's not everything. It shouldn't be the one that dictates your actions because it could lead to catastrophic events in your life. Not only that it could lead you astray with decisions, it would make your friends wary of you, that's why we need limits.

You do have a point on which money isnt everything but when a certain person do plays gambling majority would already think of this thing which money would really be anything and would be the main target and sad to say its the reality why most people do play gambling. Limitation is always been suggested but once we are on the battlefield we would definitely forget those limitations we do set.

We have to make a limit in our every decision and work. if it exists, it will cause us. Like that in gambling also we have to make one limit, and we must stick to that limit. Then only you will get to know whether gambling is profitable or not. If you not make any limit and play blindly then you always get the only loss. Because we stop our play when we don't have money to play.

I usually only bet when I see a good bet, its all about having control on knowing what and how much to bet, I can do 10 bets one day and on another one only do 1 or none. Its important for me to keep a stake every bet, depending on how confident I am.

I not only limit the amount of money that I bet but the time and the number of bets we need to try to avoid making of gambling an habit because once it is an habit it is going to be come really difficult to get rid of ti and you risk getting addicted to it.

yes i also set a limit for my gambling and i mostly try to play up to my limit and try my best not to exceed that limit. although some time i also exceed that limit because i also have very week control over my emotions which compel me to play more and more but still i try my best to play upto my limit and which in fact prevent me from losing a big amount of money  in one time.

To save ourselves from addiction, the only way is not to gamble anymore and stop completely however it might be hard for some people. For some people that is just like me, the only way is to restrict the amount that I used so that I wont use alot of money even If I keep on playing everytime when Im bored

if we can do this in every time we gambling, i am sure that in future, we can control ourselves to not being greedy for chasing the winning money and we can stop as fast as we can if somehow we are lose. i think this is a way to prevent us to being addicting in gambling and we can handle our emotions like above me said.

You know what dude, I think the better way you do is when playing the game in the gambling site you must budget your limits amount to your bankroll, so that when you play then it becomes zero balance to your bankroll, that's the for you to stop in the games. At least, your giving yourself limitation on playing in the site then if you saw your winning and it become x2 of your capital balance in the bankroll its also about time for you to stop, something like that.
