But to be honest. Most the people in the top richest man in the world is college drop out. So this made me actually confused. I think to become successful, you need passion to pursue your dreams and achieve it and not by becoming a professional only.

I guess you should. If ever i am in your position I would pursue and study more. Well that depends on each person. I just love to study and read. If I would live a very long time I wanted to study more subjects, more courses and more programs. It is. really great opportunity if you are given a chance to study.

Yes STEM is a good way to start prepare for college. It has many opportunities in this field in all sciences. If OP can afford for college, go for it! Though information is available anywhere esp in internet, youtube etc but still its a good way to enter college and experienced a college life.

Only go to college if you can get into a decent one. Going into a shitty college will just land u with a big bill and probably loads of debt with little to show for it.

We are stuck with a pattern of civilization where education has special strength to make you easy to enter parliament or ranks of the company, it turns out effective education is preferred because our brains will get an effective quality booster. Colleges are the highest level in the search for tiers of formal status.

it depends on your standards , i mean depend's on the state of your family , if they need your help alot.. i mean , u doesnt have that much .. , then its better to study well and end in way that your going to get a permanent job. But if your'e super rich like bill gates , mark .. etc.. , then there's no need to rush . another thing is it really depends on your goal.

Yes it will help you a lot if your seeking a professional career. If you go to college their will be more opportunities will be given to you. It's different if you have a degree lot of people will be proud of you especially your parents and be sure that the course you choose will enhance and improve your main skills. Be sure that it is the course you really want.

Go to local community college, and complete either your associates degree, OR all the classes a local 4 year college will let you transfer.
It's dirt cheap, and if you bomb out you won't be out a lot of money. If you decide two years is enough you can finish the AA and have SOME sort of qualification. If after all that time you are still committed (and you will have more maturity by then to know) you transfer to 4 year and only pay the big bucks to finish your degree - though choose an in-state college that is hopefully close enough to home you can live with your folks.

Everything depends on what goals you set for yourself. If you need a good job, then you need to go to college, and if you want to do business or investing, then college is not needed.

People can always combine study and work. It is certainly difficult to do, but if you have a goal then nothing is impossible. Bill gates wasn't always rich and their ideas he began to implement it during the study. I hope you will succeed.

Everyone of us wishing to go college to achieve your dreams in life. But number one problem why a lot of people can't have the opportunity to go college that is because of financial problem that can hinder them to go college. But as long as you have courage and determination to fight in this world therefore you can be rich even without any college degree.

Hi everyone,
What advice would you give a HS senior in US about to decide on and/or enter college ?
What advice would you give a HS senior in US about to decide on and/or enter college ? [/quote] I know there would still be many job opportunities in US even if youre not a degree holder and people are getting by with 3 or more jobs a day. Also, business can boom w/o college diploma. BUT, having college degree will get you farther. So, IF YOU HAVE THE PRIVELEGE, THEN GO TO COLLEGE. If you have the resources, then you should. Many out there were dreaming to go to college but just cant afford it. Skills and talents are great assets and might take you anywhere, but education will SURELY take you somewhere.

Its up to you if that is what you want but for me going to college is the best decision because your chance of having a good paying job will be high. But if you or your parents don't have enough money to send yourself to University then that's okay just work for now and save some money and if you have enough then you can continue your studies. You also need to consider if you are ready to be in a University since being in college is not like in highschool, its going to be a different world.
