What advice would you give a HS senior in US about to decide on and/or enter college ?

You should go to college because the competition nowadays is high. If you have no college degree you cannot easily find a job.

Maybe if you have your own business, then it could be fine but if you don't have then you must go to college so you will have a brighter future.

Of course you should go to college. i think that not only you but also for everybody.Educational institutions are very important to our society for earning knowledge and everybody knows the importance of learning english.

If you don't have any innate skills, passions, hard core self discipline and/or a strong inclination to a specific direction in your life than you should most defiantly go to college. The time after college flies by working shitty jobs and hanging out with friends.  I went to college in my late 20's for cyber security and In that time I could have taught my self at a much accelerated pace via self study and certificate programs. A lot of time and money was wasted on mandatory non tech classes and in general the college system is designed for social condition and financial subjugation. But the value comes in the connections and experiences you make with your peers. Those for me were priceless.

English can be learnt from other sources as well. You can either self-study, or go to private tutors. But that is not the main purpose in going to a college. In college, you get the opportunity to interact with a lot of people from different backgrounds.

you should, everybody needs to have proper education though in this age, finishing college and having degree doesnt provide as with sure answer as to wether we could have better job and good life, were just increasing the odds that we do but everything still will be up to you after you graduate.

Stepping it into college is one of the achievement of everyone. But not all are capable to go beyond that level. Because of lack of financial problem. But as long as you can go through with it lets take the chance to study well in college level.

Referring to those bitcoin users who doesn't want to go to college because of profits they are receiving in bitcoin)

Even with bitcoin on our side, and there are proofs that bitcoin can take us to success even without going to college, it's not making sense to me. Prior to bitcoin existence, diploma is one of the great achievement in our life so better goal for it not because of the money.

Back to topic, simple advice as "GO TO COLLEGE and FINISH YOUR GOAL". Make yourself proud especially your parents or guardians who funded your education along the way.

Yeah I agree with you . There's no better achievement more than a College Diploma. Even if this cryptocurrency falls you can get a better job than other people who dknt graduate in college.

- to open mind for something that is not served in the education
- to gain respect that sometimes situation does not depend from you and sometimes one has to accept this fact.

Everyone should finish college because it is the one that will give you a better life wherein you can work in a prestigious company that offers high income that can support your family. If you not finish college expect that disaster life will come to you, you will experience lack of money so you don't have enough money to buy your needs. So I suggest that you should take college.
