the amount of fiat currencies (e.g. Dollars) used in illegal transactions is the billions of USD's. This doesn't make the USD an illegal currency. Yes, DO will be used for such things, just as any other coin. But as said this is not the purpose and the majority will use it otherwise.
I feel like this has been said a million times, but you still have these people
who think that the method of purchase is equal to the item purchased. There
is no moral culpability, regardless. Dollars are pretty anonymous, in paper form,
but you don't see people demanding we outlaw them.
And here, of all places? This was the same argument people were using about
Bitcoin years ago, now it's being recycled. It's intellectually lazy and it's a
bad argument. Bad people will use
money for bad things, no matter what.
I don't see money in any danger of being outlawed, nor should it be. And that
is that.
