There is a progress bar which displays the progress along the bottom of the wallet. If you're not seeing anything, make sure you're actually connected - bottom right corner. If you're not connected, chances are you need to add the nodes via the config file. Many tutorials in the forum to assist with that.

I guess we should allow the deeponion team to decide on whether they will get it listed on other exchange or not, the main purpose of spreading the coin on different exchange is to bring liquidity and price increase which Onion have achieved with novaexchange.

Coins are not safe on cryptopia, i will never support the opinion of getting onions listed there.

What coins? I've never seen coin holder nor it's community get fleeced by Cryptopia. NSR is an extreme example.


Are you perhaps thinking of Yobit? Because that's an exchange which deserves no coins.

They are working on getting added to more exchanges. We as a community can submit requests and show the demand is there, but it would take an official team member to get it listed. Cryptopia shouldn't be too far down the road. Bittrex would be my next goal after that

Wallets have a hardcoded peer limit for nodes sometimes, I haven't looked at deeponion's source but I'd assume it's rather high. We could be hitting that upper limit, though, with how many people are participating now.


The solution is a patch if there's a hardcoded limit, or to have more static nodes powering the network.

So what if some people are dumping? They are either miners - or giving up their future airdrops, meaning you get more future airdrop value in return.
Can't do much about the miners, they sell in order to get some sort of ROI.

If YOU believe in the coin and the future of DeepOnion then YOU should continue to hold.

I think you also need to consider that in a lot of regions in the world for example 3000$ for 1000 onions is a huge amount of money maybe as much as they would earn in 6 months with average work. And if they were part of the airdrop since round 1 they have even more onions.
So you can't blame some people if they can't resist to cash out their onions when the price is as high as now.

I see it as a really fair method to do the distribution of coins at the beginning of development.

I just applied for the airdrop campaign, at want to share that I found it initally quite confusing to know how to get an Onion adress. I just was looking at the webpage and there was no information about this. I just got the info in this thread, that I need to download the wallet to get one.
