I agree with you that BTCH was probably only reason for HUSH pump, time will tell if there is higher purpose for this coin or some kind of team split/fork.

HUSH did pump to 8,5 dollars even before anything was even announced about BTCH at the end of December-Early January so there was some interest HUSH.

  Actually it pumped past 20 USD :-0 ..  It may take time but I feel this team will add intrinsic value to HUSH somehow

every coins was in a bubble at that time it mean nothing.

But check the Zclassic ZCL volatility. Yesterday it get pumped 78% with very high volume.  I don't understand if somebody is manipulating ZCL. Otherwise I really believe of Hush success and still holding.

I think that the coin Hush has great prospects because it is anonymous on the zero protocol, such as zec, monero, as well as currencies so far with not high capitalization such as our Hush, zcl, zoin, hxx, and others.
