Stupid online wallet went down at time of fork!!!  So couldn't get address to send,  if cryptopia wont support fork nothing to do but dump.  Doubt it will be worth anything if they cant keep their online wallet working in a time of peak demand.

lol HUSH is worthless, the main dev has alienated himself against the larger crypto community. BTCP will be much more successful

I have lots of hope for this coin. Been mining for a while and swing trading making 20% pretty regularly Smiley Volume has gone up a lot on Cryptopia too recently. Right now it's at 30BTC.

It is good to know that the cryptopia gone up this time. It would be more interesting for those who are very interested on this.

I don't even know if this was still a go...nothing on twitter feed, discord is down (at least I can't get to one for HUSH anymore), no communication anywhere.

Did it happen?

This has got to be one of the strangest airdrops ever.

The day before the airdrop, the team falls apart. The snapshot takes place either at noon (already passed) or at blockheight 250000 (which will happen in a couple of minutes)
The webwallet is no longer working, but the single active admin in Discord (TheTrunk) has a backup server. However, another admin has posted 1-2 pages back that the TheTrunk is no longer with the team.

I'm confused to say the least!

- When was the airdrop?
- Is the TheTrunk still with the team?
- Why is the webwallet not working?

Not sure what to do now!

Once the fork happens BTCH will depend only on Komodo platform for existence, and that isn't going away anytime soon.

BTCH can happily go on its merry way without any devs at all ... so don't panic!!

The crypto markets will love BTCH .... maybe the HUSH devs want to 'retire' and be anon now, and now they can, BTCH doesn't need devs!!

what premine?

Not a premine per se, but they "take" a share of 150,000 BTCH for "sustainable development"...

from bitcoinhush.org

"Yes, there will be a 150,000 BTCH development fund managed by jl777 to fund ongoing needs of the community"

I'll change the term in the previous post.

What could that be based on? The fact that it takes some time for the transaction? cmon. This looks quite nice.

HUSH still needs HushNG to recuperate and to go places... BTCH is only there to sustain the development and to be experimental in nature to improve HUSH.

Source github?

Yes and no, my source is the chatter on the ‘terminated’ Discord channel by the team and their Twitter posts, but most are available on GitHub.

HUSH needs 2 components, GitHub/whitepaper:

- HushNG - https://github.com/MyHush/hush-ng (no whitepaper)
- HushList - https://github.com/leto/hushlist/blob/master/whitepaper/protocol.pdf (PDF)

As explained on www.myhush.org

Quote
HUSHNG
MESSENGER, WALLET, MINING PLATFORM.
All-in-one, Hush Next-Generation is a highspeed messaging, transaction, and asset platform for the blockchain.
Leveraging a zkSnarks core, HushNG enables rapid messaging, transacting and issuance for private or public addresses, on all platforms.
In full development and coming soon.

Quote
HUSHLIST
PRIVATE MESSENGER FOR PSEUDONYMOUS AND ANONYMOUS COMMUNICATIONS
Hushlist is a program which allows communicating via the cryptocurrency Hush. You can send messages to around 50 people simultaneously, allowing for encrypted mailing-list style messaging.
Using the zCash protocol, it allows transactions involving shielded addresses in addition to normal transparent Bitcoin addresses. This allows transactions without disclosing sender, receiver, message (or even that a message existed), or financial transaction amount.

What’s our next step?  Log into barterdex and claim btch?

Wait...

As explained in the whitepaper:

Quote
How Do I Get my Airdrop?
You must HODL your private key (not on an exchange!) in a transparent address. Since only HUSH has shielded addresses in this airdrop, HUSH HODLers with value inside of shielded zaddrs must choose to migrate it to taddrs before the snapshot date or simply enjoy their freedom via the zkSNARKs that protect their address balances.

A block height closest to (but not later than) 12pm NOON UTC on Feb 1st 2018

Only the snapshot took place today.

Quote
Will everything be done and launch at the above time?
No, the full network is expected to launch some time in February, since there needs to be time to decide on a final value for each taddr, and then make many many transactions on the BTCH chain to fill the appropriate taddrs with value on the BTCH chain.

You will need to wait for the launch to import your private key to claim your BTCH, you may use the Agama app:

https://komodoplatform.com/en/downloads

There is no timeline, other than some time in February. HushNG was supposed to launch at this time as it supports both Hush and BTCH, but due to the recent ‘activities’ between core members, there is no reported status on this development. Stick with Agama until more is known to claim your BTCH later this month.

Can someone explain What is the future of old HUSH?
Will it be abandoned?

To quote,

https://btchush.org/

Quote
What will happen to Hush?
Hush is the mother chain to BTCH, and has it’s own network, it’s not going anywhere. BTCH is a new coin to try out things that are just simply impossible with one blockchain that already exists. So we had to create a new coin to try these bleeding-edge ideas out, and now you get free money!!!

BTCH also inherits all Komodo (KMD) technologies and updates.

The development on HUSH will continue, I think, where we may see some experimental developments on BTCH make it to HUSH, however, there is no available timeline to see any ‘achievable’ milestones and I don't know whether HUSH will take part in the 'sustainable development' program. Only the devs may say what will happen to HUSH in the larger picture.

You may ask away on the new Discord channel -> https://discord.gg/Cy8JHVX

In my opinion, these developments need more exposure. They must investigate the options to sell on centralised exchanges and bring product leaders onboard, either in their own or private capacity, to promote HUSH/BTCH. HUSH has much potential with HushNG and HushList (which will serve all coins based on the Zcash protocol, including but not limited to HUSH, KMD, ZCL, ZEN, BTCP, ZAU and BTCH).
